Have you been noticing what’s been going on in New York since Zohran Mamdani has been elected mayor? He isn’t even sworn in yet, and he’s already making destructive moves by hiring the sorts of cabinet officials and appointees who are going to ensure New York city becomes even more of a dangerous, decaying hellscape.
We know he lied during the campaign and said he no longer believed in defunding the police. But he still wanted to add to the force by hiring an army of counselors in kitty sweaters to respond to all sorts of different disturbances.
Well-now that he’s tricked the voters- Mamdani has hired a man who literally ‘wrote the book’ on defunding the police…to be on his transition team.
This is a crackpot sociology professor at Brooklyn College who authored quote…the end to policing. He’s a big Mamdani advisor, now. His name is Alex Vitale....here's the NY Post

Mamdani openly hating police officers and insisting they are racist and anti-alphabet…etc. And now that he’s won office…he no longer needs to pretend that he’s going to support or fully fund the NYPD.
I just hope he finds the money to fund his…quote…department of community safety…because this is the legion of counselors in kitty sweaters who are going to resolve every domestic dispute and gangland street argument. I’m dying… (I was going to say…I’m dying to see how this will work out…. but it occurs to me that it’s going to be the counselors who will be dying due to this stupid effort)
In fact, if Mamdani follows the advice of this professor idiot…you can look for my book ‘blood on the kitty sweater’...after about a year of this new way of ‘resolving conflict’.
Because it can’t be called policing. It won’t be called policing. It will be the ‘CR team’ the NYCR. The New York conflict resolution team will arrive on the stage. A fat, middle aged lesbian will pile out of the squad in a kitty sweater that says ‘life’s a litter box’... And it’s going to be up to her to stop the drunk husband from killing his wife.
Or stop ‘Cheeto’ from stabbing ‘lil’ dillweed’... In the street. This is going to work out great.
Oh-and now consider the news we learned yesterday: just over the last year, New York corrections officials have released over seven-thousand illegal criminals back onto the streets of New York.
These are illegal aliens who were arrested for ‘some crime or another’ and saw the judge and then were either immediately let go instead of altering ice…or held until they served a sentence and then let go back onto the streets of New York, rather than be turned over to ice.
What residents of NY city-in their right mind-would think this is helpful. Or that this is the way that this-should- be done?
That sounds logical, doesn’t it? And if mayor Eric Adams was at least cooperating ‘somewhat’ with ice -you know that Zohran Mamdani won’t. He has proudly proclaimed as much over and over again- to reporters and news cameras. I thought that leftists hated guns and wanted to crack down on weapons offenses?
Not really-But ‘absolutely not’ if you are an illegal alien.
The ice director just sent another letter to the putrid Letitia James- New York’s farce of an attorney general- and insisted that they start cooperating with ice. She won’t, of course.
And by the way? These sanctuary laws date back to 2017, when Andrew Cuomo was governor. This is the guy who just lost the mayor’s race to Mamdani.
It was Cuomo and the NY democrats of ‘his day’ who passed all sorts of sanctuary laws because they were smarter and more caring than the rest of us and needed to protect illegals from deportation.
The laws tie the hands of the police officers, prosecutors, and judges…and have helped make New York a hellhole again.
You’d think at least some of today’s democrats would be smart enough to repeal these sanctuary city laws now that they are clearly backfiring on their own communities…but no.
Democrats are more concerned with fighting trump and fighting ice than they are with protecting their own community members and voters. We have big city democrats and blue state governors- literally- and intentionally making their communities and their citizens less safe…. because they got to ‘fight trump’.
That’s the definition of being dangerously dumb. And today’s democrat crime policies, overall? Are patently suicidal.
