Okay-this is impressive- considering that President Trump has only been in office again for about seven months- and that his new web of ‘border and immigration’ fixes has only been in place for about six months.
My friends, the center for immigration studies estimates that the illegal immigrant population is already down by about 1.6-million people under trump’s crackdown.
That’s 1.6 million ‘self-deportations’ and ‘ice’ deportations in just six months. That’s darned impressive.
Numbers like this also suggest that trump’s so-called ‘self-deportation app’ – is working. It really is paying off with ‘some number’ of illegals deciding to take the deal that’s being offered to willingly go back home- in return for a free plane ride back and a thousand dollars given to you upon arrival.
There’s no doubt that the ingenious move by Trump’s team to take Biden’s open border app and ‘retool it’ to be a self-deportation app instead of just shutting it down...was ingenious.
After all millions of illegals have this app on their phones, right? It’s the app that many of them use to get into the country...
So, rather than shut it down, Trump’s team changed the software and turned it into a ‘deport yourself’ app and hundreds of thousands of illegals must be using it.
That’d be my guess given these numbers. Because, folks, ice -has not- deported over a million illegals in just six months. We know they haven’t.
This is a lot of illegals leaving on their own ...and/or...being motivated too
But there are upsides and downsides to this: for example, it means that-for the first time since the 1930s- America is likely to see the total u-s population -decline- this year.
We average about half a million births in the u-s in any given year...so if we are only seven months into this year and have already lost two-million members of our population- it means a net loss in population for the year.
Still. I don’t think you are going to hear too many Americans complaining.
We already know that overall wages are going up because of this new ‘worker shortage’...
And we already know that more Americans who have been sitting on the sidelines or in lower-paying jobs are starting to re-enter the workforce with more optimism, again.
These are good things.
And while all these stories want to dismiss the impact on social services, schools, hospitals, and the u-s infrastructure when they talk about illegals- it’s a huge deal.
It’s a significant savings to US taxpayers, the schools, the health care and insurance industries, etc....if we don’t have millions of illegals overburdening these systems and running up the costs for ‘we taxpayers.
Let’s not gloss over that fact- as the MSM outlets want to.
And this ‘good news’ comes before ice and Trumps teams even really ‘ramp up’ their larger deportation effort. The money that was approved for this in the big reconciliation bill is-just now- starting to be spent on new deportation centers...and new ice and border patrol hires.
And yet another prediction the naysayers have gotten wrong-is that ‘no one will want to work for ice. They’re going to have a hard time filling these jobs.
But- like our military branches- it turns out that ice and border patrol started to see floods of applications start right away after Trump retook office.
Even before ice started this new recruitment drive- they had received 35-thousand applications just since January 20th. This proves that all sorts of patriotic Americans are glad that ‘America is back’ and want to participate in its revival.
Just between January and may- border patrol applications surged 44 percent. Secret service applications surged by 33 thousand.
By May- every one of our military branches-and the coast guard- had met their recruitment goals for the fiscal year, already, and they’ve been putting ‘new hires’ on waiting lists so that they can offer them jobs in October. When the new fiscal year starts.
Folks, the ‘American revival’ under Trump is ‘real’ and it is ‘underway’ in a big way-even if most Americans don’t realize it-because most of our so-called ‘news outlets’ aren’t reporting on it.
Don’t tell me that most Americans aren’t excited and optimistic, again.
It’s another reminder that ‘social media’ and ‘left wing news coverage’ isn’t ‘real life’.
It’s another reminder about -just how much-those things can skew and warp our perceptions and what is allegedly true or real.
One silly example: a new poll shows just twelve percent of Americans found the Sydney Sweeney ‘good jeans’ commercials offensive. 40 percent thought they were very effective.
But if you take social media or what you read in the news media as gospel...you thought that was a real controversy.
It wasn’t, really.
It turns out that most of us have no problem with a hot girl showing off her jeans. What a shock.
Increasingly- I’m convinced that somewhere between 50 and 80 percent of the leftist ‘griping’ and alarmism is genuinely ‘much ado about nothing’.
But-returning to Trump’s handling of illegal immigration for a minute-there’s also this story:
Ice is going to follow up ‘alligator Alcatraz’ with another detention center out west...called ‘camp east Montana’. But it’s not in Montana.
This is going to be confusing for AOC and jasmine crocket and Corey booker.
Well, any democrat, really.
‘Camp east Montana’ is going to be at fort bliss in El Paso, Texas ...so...the democrats are also going to have a slightly longer plane flight if they want to stage ‘protest theatre’ in front of these gates.
So- let the new rounds of whining begin-
But it’s not going to stop this new effort to arrest and deport as many bad foreign actors and criminals as the trump administration can.
It is- so-refreshing to see this-after watching American presidents and administrations be weak-
One weaker than the next- when it came to controlling that southern border and/or arresting illegals.
At least president Obama was deporting some of the worst of the criminals. Then Biden’s regime stopped even doing that.
But hey- neither George Bush nor Ronald Reagan was ‘good about it’ either.
This is the first time we have had a truly closed and controlled southern border- ever- in the 250-year history of the country-
And it’s the first time in ‘forever’. Decades and decades. That we’ve had any genuine federal desire, or effort, to deport illegal law breakers.
And it’s probably closer to the truth to say: we have never had a presidential administration that has ever been this focused on catching and deporting criminals and illegals.
Ever in the history of the country.
I also believe that’s a historically true statement.
