It looks like former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo-is not going to make it easy-for New York’s current mayor-eric Adams- to try to defeat the new socialist phenom- Zahran Mamdani.
After the primary election- that Cuomo conceded so quickly on election night-Cuomo and his team were said to be ‘done’. In the wake of that loss, Cuomo was -not-inclined to ignore the results and shift gears and run in the general election as an independent, anyway.
Or at least that was the initial reporting.
Then-
A few days later- Cuomo’s camp was saying ‘he’s not out yet. Andrew hasn’t decided yet.He set up this ‘shell party’ before he ran in the primary to hedge his bets.
Apparently, Cuomo’s team formed the bogus ‘fight and deliver’ party...just in case he lost the democrat primary....so...that doesn’t suggest much confidence....as Cuomo tried to launch a comeback political career.
But hey, now he can use it. Yesterday, Andrew Cuomo officially announced that he will be in the ballot under this ‘fight and deliver’ party...or ‘stand and deliver’ party...or ‘call for delivery’ party...or whatever it is.
And yes, this significantly complicates Eric Adam’s efforts-as an independent- trying to beat the socialist and keep his job.
Cuomo clearly doesn’t care-and even has a scheme to get Adams and the republican to drop out of the race-to give himself a clear ‘one on one’ shot at Mamdani, again, in the general election.
Cuomo put out a campaign video yesterday- in which he issued a groveling apology for the voters he had let down by losing to Mamdani in the primary by twelve points. Twelve.
But said, hey, I can still beat this guy in the general election.
Apologies to Andrew Cuomo if I’m missing something...but he doesn’t appear to be the best campaigner. He sort of looks and sounds like a dud...and the biggest criticism of his primary effort from his fellow New York insiders and donors was he didn’t even really try all that hard or present a compelling campaign message. He just assumed he’d win...because he expected to.
So-
After half-hearting the primary-is he going to try harder to win the general election?Or not?
No one quite knows.
Meanwhile-the current mayor-Eric Adams- would seem to have a more compelling campaign and a more compelling narrative to beat Mamdani- but he’s running behind Cuomo in the last poll I saw.
That poll was-I’m sure- one of the things that convinced Andrew Cuomo to simply ignore the fact that he got crushed in the primary-and keep going.
It also has Cuomo pressuring Eric Adams-and the pathetic republican in the race- Curtis Sliwa- to agree to a deal: whichever of the three is leading in the polls as of Labor Day.... Has the other two dropped out...so he can take on Mamdani one-on-one on general election day.
That’s the scheme Cuomo wants the other two to agree to. I doubt either of them will, though, which means four names will be on the general election ballot-and Mamdani will almost certainly win as the ‘non-Mamdani’ vote is splintered between the other three.
Folks-Cuomo clinging to this race-makes it even more likely that the next New York mayor is going to be this racist, America-hating socialist-slash-communist...Zohran Mamdani.
Wow.
As it is- Mamdani is the frontrunner-and savvy New Yorkers- like Eric Adams- understand where this dangerous clown’s level of support comes from: it’s all of the ‘little monsters’ that the Pelosi and Obama era democrats created...when they decided to invite the kook fringes to have a prominent seat at the table...and decided that injecting socialistand ‘green’ indoctrination into our educational systems was a great idea.
Listen to Eric Adams at an event this week-when he was asked- how did Mamdani’s supporters ‘come out of nowhere’?
His response was: they don’t come out of nowhere. I’ve been talking about them as a threat to the city- for some time.
The question now can slick Tic Tok videos and enthusiastic volunteers be enough to have most New Yorkers ignoring or overlooking the fact that Mamdani’s a dangerously inexperienced and indoctrinated fraud....and electing him, anyway.
That’s the worry here- from most New York state democrats.
The so-called ‘liberal’ and ‘socialist progressive’ democrats of this era...are suddenly staring a genuine Marxist-slash-communist in the face...and wondering how they keep his supporters from taking over the New York democrat party.
Apparently, Kathy Hocul and her team are mortified by Zohran Mamdani’s rise- because he’s relentlessly criticized her and if his party of quote...democrat socialists...gets any real power and momentum.... They could wipe Hocul off the board and simply take over the party state-wide.
This is Hocul’s worry-and folks- she’s a pseudo-socialist!
Kathy Hocul-is not- a traditional liberal. She’s also not an open socialist. But nearly all of her rhetoric and nearly every part of her platform scream ‘big govt style socialist’.
And she? And her team of quotes...socialist progressives? ...are afraid of Mamdani?
Wow.
These idiots in New York and California-and the larger democrat party-have let ‘real’. Not fake. Not pseudo. –
They have let ‘‘really’’ socialist and communist wolves into their tent-and only now- seem to be realizing it.
So, as Mamdani’s official campaign people are ‘talking nice’ about Kathy Hocul in the hopes that she’ll cave and play along and give him her endorsement-
The plans are already underway behind the scenes to have the socialist organizations and America-hating grassroots behind Mamdani to use his win to ‘wipe out’ any remaining ‘moderate’ democrats or traditional liberals in the state-houses-
Including Kathy Hocul.
Today’s democrat leaders are in trouble...and i can’t say i feel sorry for them.
Not when -they created- the very monsters who are now threatening to eat them.
I’ve covered this before: this is what the Obama-era democrats ‘unleashed’ on their own party -and onto the country- when they got so desperate for voters...and to keep winning elections...that they decided they needed the quote ‘excitement and energy’ of the kook fringe and grievance groups.... along with antifa and BLM rioters.... To keep their party afloat.
There won’t normally be anything wrong with that-but these young people are genuinely ignorant, indoctrinated, America-hating zealots.
They aren’t the type of young people that the rest of us want to turn this country over to-as we age.
This decidedly-is not- the next generation to protect America’s greatness, freedoms, and traditions...or defend democracy, globally. They are, instead, the exact opposite.
These young Gen-zers on the left represent the downfall of America and what has traditionally stood for over 250 years...if they ever get real power- in numbers- in Washington DC or in our state houses.
And every one of us should be mortified at that thought.
It sounds like many of their fellow democrats in dc, California, and New York are now that it’s almost too late to stop them.

You must be an imbecile to support socialism or communism. You really do.
You’ve got to be an imbecile to support the ‘magical fixes’ that Zohran Mamdani is selling for New York city’s problems.
But he’s poised to win the general election. And the army of dangerously dumb America-haters behind him...is poised to take out-then take over- the rest of the democrat tent in New York state- after Mamdani wins.
And they aren’t being quiet about their plans, either.
