The left is having a hard time with Trump's wins

Jay Weber Show transcript 6-24-25

I love this: a former national security staffer for both Bill Clinton and Joe Biden...says...oh, there’s no way Kamala would have had the courage or fortitude to make this call on Iran. No.

Wow.

That’s quite an admission coming from a fellow democrat insider. This guy’s name is Jamie Metzl...who served as a national security staffer under Clinton....and a senate staffer for Joe Biden...and said...oh, I voted for Kammy, but...

See?

Is it that hard to be rational and reasonable for leftists and democrats?

It wasn’t hard-at all- for most of us on the right to praise President Obama for making the bold call to okay a raid into a foreign nation in order to Osama bin Laden....Or give the okay for naval snipers to take out Somali pirates and save a ship’s captain.

Why would it be hard to give ‘props’ to a person you don’t normally agree with- for doing something that you -do- agree with?

I’ve never understood this. But- when you are in the throes of ‘Trump derangement syndrome’...or are simply an America-hating socialist- it’s a different story. You see everything through that poisoned and polluted lens.

Every. Reasonable. Democrat should be saying what Metzl is saying here

He can be ‘wrong’ on the other stuff-but right on this, yes.

Which is why it kills me to see stories about how ‘even trump’s critics and opponents on the right’ are praising him for this.

Well, of course they are: because, in truth, this wasn’t a controversial call.

It was a -hard call. A difficult call-but it wasn’t really a ‘controversial call’- when the stakes were so high: either Iran’s evil regime gets nuclear weapons-or it doesn’t.

And so-why wouldn’t Mike Pence or Jeb Bush, etc., praise trump for making the right call?

Why would it be surprising that reasonable people and other patriots agree with trump’s call, here?

The more surprising reactions are coming from most of the democrats-who are such Trump haters that they feel the need to reflexively take the opposite position every time.

The people who have made themselves look like dopes over the last 48 hours are people like...Hakeem Jeffries ...and AOC...and Adam Schiff...and Chuck Schumer.

Just admit it: Trump’s move defangs monsters and eliminates a long-time threat against the west. In fact-the primary global threat- against the west.

If nothing else-admit that it opens the door to a brighter future in the middle east.Start advocating for more Abraham Accords...etc...if you are genuinely interested in a long-time peace in that region.

Don’t grab Hamas and Iranian flags and start waving them around in u-s streets. What’s wrong with you?

How is that at all helpful?

Their reactions prove, again, that these are unserious and unstable people.  Schumer, Pelosi, Jefferies, etc.- all praised Barrack Obama after he bombed Libya without alerting congress. He and Hillary ‘did’ regime change in Libya without alerting anyone ahead of time-and by-these very same democrats seemed to love that move.

They’re the very same people who now have their undies in a twist over President Trump even typing the words ‘regime change’ in a social media post.

The president was clearly urging the Iranian people to ‘do it themselves’. He wasn’t advocating for any increased US involvement, or troop involvement, and yet-

Because today’s leftists and democrats are simply-devoid- of any real issues- they felt the need to spin this out all day yesterday: denouncing any attempt at regime change.

Again-

They cheered when Barry and Hillary did it back in the early 2000s.

Now they are inventing another fake worry and trying to gaslight the American people with it.

But as Karoline Leavitt told fox news yesterday morning- the president knows it’s up to the Iranian people:

KAROLINE LEAVITT: The president believes the Iranian people can control their own destiny. What he said last night makes complete sense.

If the Iranian regime refuses to come to a diplomatic solution -- which the president is still interested in engaging with -- why shouldn't the Iranian people take away the power of this incredibly violent regime, which has been suppressing them for decades?

Our posture has not changed, our military posture has not changed; these were decisive, precision strikes that were successful on Saturday evening. The president is simply raising a good question many people around the world are asking.

We ‘broke the stuff we needed to break’ and resolved the immediate threat. It’s now entirely up to Iran- as to whether this escalates.

I’m still more worried about them activating terrorist sleeper cells- or having other hidden Muslim extremists in this country decide they are going to engage in ‘lone wolf’ attacks on us here, domestically.

But- it’s a good sign that the Ayatollah and whoever’s left of his inner circle are more interested in ‘face saving’ off-ramps than ramping up this direct conflict in any way.
