There’s some good news when it comes to ICE moving more prominently into sanctuary cities: it’s also probably going to mean more national guardsmen being called up to watch their back
Its calmed down a little bit since the riots two weekends ago...but the dept of homeland security says the National Guard is still needed there...because they are working to create secure bubbles around the ice agents as they do their work.
The ninth circuit court of appeals is a notoriously left-wing-and nutty- group of federal judges...but less so...since President Trump and Mitch McConnell added some conservatives into the mix in term one.
If the appeals court-does- side with the lower court and order trump to return control of the guard to Newsom-I fully expect that the White House legal team will ask for an emergency ruling by the Supreme Court-
Given how crucial the president’s ability to call up national guardsmen in each state could soon become, here.
If l-as ice and law enforcement officers know how vital guardsmen are to the overall operation-Trump’s team is going to want to call some up in – New York- when those higher profile raids start.... and...in Georgia....if more raids start in Atlanta.... and... Massachusetts....if more major raids are conducted in Boston...etc.
La has been the flashpoint so far. Ice has conducted major raids in all these other places since trump took over and Tom Homan ‘got serious ...but with the leftists and elected democrats insisting on having their community ‘fight back, we might be seeing a city-by-city need for national guardsmen to create security bubbles around ice operations.
And so-if the trump team loses this appeal in front of the ninth circuit this week...they can’t ‘take it lying down’. They’d have to rush to the supreme court and have the justices validate: a president has the authority to call up the national guard in times of emergency- even if the governor says ‘no’....as the only other person with that authority.
We’ve also been talking-generically-about how there is more money for the border wall, border agents, and ice agents in this ‘big beautiful’ reconciliation bill that republican congressmen will eventually pass.
And- shock of shocks- it isn’t even a controversial part of the bill.
Isn’t that something?
Joe Biden’s open borders-have-settled all sorts of questions and arguments related to overall border security and how we should handle this illegal immigration problem. The democrats are on the losing side of this-big time- to the point that this reconciliation bill includes 175-billion dollars in spending on border and ice enforcement. 175-billion dollars. And no one’s batting an eye. The democrats aren’t even trying to label it controversial or blast it as outrageous.
People continue to hold strong and support President Trump, ICE, and ‘law and order’ thru the summer months-when the new leftist temper tantrums over ice raids are likely to be their worst-
We really came ‘come out the other end’...with a far less controversial, orderly, well-funded process for enforcing our borders and deporting illegals.
For the first time in decades-i see real ‘wins’ on the horizon for the conservative movement and the American people on these matters. We just need to pass this new glut of funding and put the increased enforcement into practice- while allowing the America-hating activists and pro-illegal whiners to ‘protest themselves out’.
Yeah, yeah, have your tantrums every few weekends during the summer...then...go away.
