This is interesting: even more democrats are starting to hate and distrust the mainstream media.
Isn’t that interesting.
A new survey from Rasmussen reports shows that these long-time, lefty media members are finally starting to lose significant credibility on their own side of the aisle....and it’s that shift...that is leading to the larger drop-off in ‘media trust.
Get it?
For decades-we on the right didn’t trust the mainstream news media outlets. And-over those decades- fewer and fewer independents and moderates decided that they trusted that same news media...
But now! Holy cow! All sorts of democrats are also starting to decide.... they also...no longer trust these so-called ‘mainstream’ and legacy media outlets.
Rasmussen says the new erosion is in younger voters, older people, Hispanics, and other self-identified ‘democrat’ voters.
That’s interesting-and it’s a sign to me that ‘even the lefty news media’ is getting ‘too lefty’...and moving too far to the left for many democrats.
That’s what these admissions-and this shift-indicates to me: yes, democrat voters know these legacy media outlets are on ‘their side’ of the political spectrum.... but more and more democrats are viewing them as having moved ‘too far down’ on the ideological spectrum.
Get it?
Yeah-they’re all calling themselves democrats in that tent-but there’s currently a war over control of the party between the so-called ‘progressives’ ...who are just socialists who won’t admit it...
And the so-called moderates or traditional liberals.
Well-this survey finding -I read- as an acknowledgement by more and more moderate democrats that-they see the members of the mainstream news media as having joined the progressives.
And they are correct. The writers at today’s New York times are nearly all America-hating socialists now, and you can see it in their work. Yes.
And yes-nearly all the ‘democrat’ experts who appear on CNN or MSNBC now...are of the ‘progressive’ variety...and not of the ‘traditional liberal democrat’ variety.
Members of their own party are starting to realize this-and are starting to hate the bias in the news media nearly as much as we do-on the right.
Which is an interesting development.
I’ll take us back to the audio from Bill Maher that I ran at the very end of yesterday’s show. Most listeners won’t have heard this...or might have run into it on social media...
But Bill Maher is a perfect example of a long-time ‘traditional liberal’. He’s socially and fiscally liberal in just about every single ‘20th century’ way. In every ‘pre-Obama’ way you can imagine. He grew up in the 70s and 80s....when democrats valued free speech...and the exchange of ideas...and winning argument with the power of persuasion. And none of that- is evident in today’s democrat party.
Maher- is also patriotic and loves his country. Clearly. Even if we differ on policy and political ideology in just about every way. You can tell he’s genuine.
And boy.... does that make Bill Maher a misfit in today’s democrat party. He has been relentlessly trashing these so-called progressives who are pushing a genuinely ludacris, America-hating, ‘logic hating’- agenda.
Maher is right about all that-including the last part about how ‘you democrat parents had better get ahold of your kids and set them straight’.
The problem is-way too many of the parents! Today! Are ‘with the kids on this stuff. It’s mostly the mothers. The white, elite, perpetually gullible mothers and young women...who make up the backbone of today’s democrat party-
And if you think I’m exaggerating or being mean: look at the voting patterns and look at the faces in any left-wing protest today: it’s primarily young women from elite or privileged backgrounds.
Case in point: NY police made 80 arrests at the Columbia protest last week-right? Sixty were women. They are the gullible, indoctrinated faces of today’s left.
Anyway- Maher praised Michigan senator Elissa Slotkin’s recent call for the democrat party to moderate their tone and get back to showing their patriotism.

Okay. That’s not bad advice. Is it?
The problem is-the vast majority of her party’s activist base now-is not- a bunch of patriots! Today’s most young and energetic democrats are America-haters...and they’ve made that clear. These young socialist morons don’t own an American flag....and they see it as a symbol of oppression.
These are the idiots who cheered when the pro-Hamas flag was draped over the American flag at a recent democrat rally.
These are the fools who cheered when an Irish band at Coachella lit up a sign that said ‘f-Israel, free Palestine’.
It’s sad to say but: the majority now...
The majority...of today’s democrats are not patriots. They do not want to love America; they want to destroy it.
And for Maher and Slotkin to think that ‘they’ still represent most voters in their own party? It is foolish.
They are now in the minority under that tent.
And for the fate of the country-I actually hope that today’s America- loving democrats can take back the reigns of their party, eventually.
It would be a living nightmare to have ‘this version’ of America-hating democrat ever. Ever. Take over the majority positions in our federal government and state houses.
If you think the blue states are bad now-look at where they are the absolute worst and most dysfunctional: San Francisco, LA, Portland, Chicago-
That’s where these ‘socialist progressives’ have been in charge and have started to intentionally destroy the country.
I -hope- a new batch of common sense, America-loving democrats are on the horizon. But I think it’s going to take 8 to 12 years of republican control in dc to make that happen. The left need to reject and shove out their extremist fringe...and will only do it if those radical idiots suffer loss, after loss, after loss. Each election.
