This is significant.
My friends, for the first time in 30 years, the democrats and republicans are tied on the question: which party cares more about the needs of the American people?.
I have been following the news and politics for well over 30 years...and for the entire time I’ve been doing so.... I have never seen the country ‘tied’ on this question.
And no, the republicans have never ‘led’ in it, either. This notion that the democrat party is the ‘more caring’ party goes all the way back to the FDR years...in which their party passed the new deal...and a flood of govt welfare and ‘social improvement’ programs that were meant to help the poor. The most desperate. Coming out of the depression.
This is how far from the belief that ‘the democrat party cares more about the American people’...stretches back.
And of course, it’s been a huge fallacy for most of that time...but pretty much ‘every’ democrat has used it to their advantage since: JFK was a blue blood elite but worked in concert with the labor unions to convince Americans ‘he cared about them’. Bill Clinton ‘felt our pain’...etc.
So... it’s a big deal that new polling shows the words ‘caring’ and ‘democrat’ no longer ‘go together’ for most voters.
I cannot stress enough how- over about 8 decades- democrats have come to believe that ‘they’ are the caring ones.
Even as Joe Biden and his team were destroying the country. Harming families with their inflation. Showing no sympathy to gold star families. Checking their watches as coffins were unloaded. Telling people whom they had pushed out of their jobs to.... learn to code.... etc.
Thru all that insensitive crap....and to this day...Joe Biden and Jill Biden and their entire White House full of a-hole staffers.... would insist that they ‘deeply care’ about the American people.
And I didn’t even mention all the bullying wokeism the left has displayed over the last ten years. The burning of businesses. The physical assaults on anyone in a trump hat...or expressing an opinion. The forcing of their beliefs onto the culture...while hating anyone who loved god, or guns, or this country.
Thru all of that: AOC, Bernie, and the rest of them would insist that ‘they care more’ about the American people.
This is a completely brainwashed ‘half’ of the country.
But if a new survey that shows the American people simply don’t believe it, anymore, holds up...well. As one pundit put it: the dems will have surrendered the most potent and enduring electoral advantage that any political party has ever enjoyed in America.
And no. I don’t think that’s overstating it.
This is big.
And at least part of the shift must be because of how arrogant and bullying and ‘uncaring’ the democrats were-all thru the Biden era-
And at least part of the shift must be because president trump and the republicans have started to prove that -we-on the right- are the ones who care more about the plight of the American people.
And no- not just the ‘oligarchs’...but everyone who was being screwed- first by barrack Obama’s regime...and then by Bidens....and currently by a tripling down by party leaders on their bullying leftism.
For nearly 100 years...the republicans have been the party of low taxes, national security, smaller and less intrusive government, more liberties...etc.
And the dems have wrapped themselves in this idea that they are the caring, compassionate ones.
Well- something significant has happened-if the American people aren’t buying it, anymore.
Correct?
I can point to dozens of ways that the Biden-era and modern era democrats have demonstrated over, and over, and over again that they don’t care about the American people....and that they only view us as ‘ignorant cows’ whom they need to ‘rule over’.
Democrat leaders have believed that- probably since the FDR era, too. But in this era- there’s the added arrogance and insult that comes along with their woke bullying.
For example...last week.... a democrat congresswoman named Marie Perez- attended a town hall in her district.
She’s a democrat out of Washington state-and is seen as a moderate....and so...okay...she holds a town hall in her own district.
Now-
We know republican congressmen are getting screamed at their own town halls because rabid left-wing activists are organizing it-
But I am sure that-in lefty Washington State- this liberal congresswoman never gave a second thought to ‘her safety’ or how she’d be received in her own district.
Folks- Marie Perez was shouted down and had to endure a torrent of hate and profanity...before cops ushered her out of her own town hall...because the attendees were so furious at her.
Do you know what she said to ‘set them off’.

That’s her direct quote. She, as a democrat congresswoman who took an oath to uphold America’s constitution and rules.... was under threat for her life.... because she told a crowd of leftists.... Only citizens should vote in US elections.
Wow.
This was Perez- trying to get her party and her constituents back onto the right path. And she was verbally brutalized by left-wing activists.
Because-they-are the ones controlling the democrat party right now. And that means all ‘civility’ and all ‘common sense’ has gone right out the window.
There’s no room for civility and common sense in socialist and communist regimes. And I don’t say that kiddingly. That! Is what today’s leftists want America to be: a socialist or communist regime. And we need to stop letting them get away with ‘nuances’ and ‘alternative labels’ for what is terrible, old-fashioned, failed.... socialism and communism.
We-on the right-have pointed to the average democrat’s lack of common sense- for decades. It was half of rush Limbaugh’s schtick on any given day. But when we are -in this age-dealing with rabid America-hating socialists who have now taken over one of the two major political parties in this country-the stakes have never been higher, people.
We must hope and pray that ‘common sense’ and Americans ‘pushed too far’ will ultimately save us from ‘this version’ of the democrat party.
The good news is- the leaders atop this effort are such dimwits that they tend to expose themselves...and harm their own efforts.
A great example is Tim Walz- the gov of Minnesota-doing some sort of rehabilitation tour on his political career after being Kamala Harris’s running mate.
He, too, every time he does an interview, manages to say something stupid.
The most recent instance was Monday night-as he spoke at Harvard law school. (which is like asking a squirrel to teach a basketball clinic) ...
I have no idea why this numb nut was at Harvard. But he said:
So....the democrats are so obsessed with identity politics that they thought they needed a ‘white guy’ to speak to the ‘white guys.
But not a ‘pajama boy’.... or a ‘Chelsea Manning’....a ‘manly man’...who could talk to ‘real guys’.
Good grief.
The fact that they thought Tim Walz was a ‘manly man’ is part of the problem. Isn’t it?
Nothing about Tim Walz is genuine. He’s not a hunter. He’s not ‘handy’. He’s not a trucker. He’s not a construction worker.
Everyone in Minnesota politics knows it’s all an act. He’s bought Carhart clothing and the camouflage hats...and thinks he’s fooling people...
And they do, too.
As clay Travis posted on x yesterday: who thinks adding Tim Walz to that ticket ‘drew in’ white men...rather than ‘drove them away’?
Not me.Walz clearly ‘drove them away’.
No.
The democrats this week are Lovin’, Lovin’ the fake polls that show trump is in trouble...but...that doesn’t change the fact that their party is still circling the drain.
