I did an earlier topic on the latest bogus Pete Hegseth scandal- and how President Trump is determined not to let the leftist news media force him into making political decisions by trying to ruin his team members and turn them into political liabilities...
That’s exactly the decade-long game these same media outlets have relentlessly pursued against Trump, and he finds it infuriating. He’s not about to force people out of his administration and give into that form of bullying.
But- some comments from democrats related to this latest ‘Hegseth nonsense’...are going to help me illustrate what a new term that’s being used means.
The new term is ‘Dark Woke’. Dark woke.
What is ‘dark woke’? It’s a new democrat strategy. It’s intentional. It sounds a little racist to me, quite frankly, because they are linking it to Jasmine Crockett, who young democrats seem to be connecting with as a ‘sassy’, nasty, profane black women who loves to call republicans profane names.
But, you make the call. See what you think.
We’ve been talking -for weeks now- about how today’s elected democrats have apparently decided that using more profanity and blasphemy makes them sound ‘tougher’ and ‘angrier’ and like they are ‘fighting harder’...etc.
Well- welcome to ‘dark woke’.
It’s no longer ‘apparently’ intentional. It’s intentional. Listen to a few of the comments I’m pulling out of a politico article on Hegseth yesterday, and understand that i am using the ‘gentler’ references’ to the profanity and swear words here. These lawmakers. Are using the full profanity.
Sen. Tammy Duckworth, a combat veteran and member of the armed services committee, said, quote:
“How many times does Pete Hegseth need to leak classified intelligence before Donald Trump and republicans understand that he isn’t only an effing liar, he is a threat to our national security?” And she wrote the full ‘f’ word, in a statement.That wasn’t just a quote off the top of her head to a reporter: she and her team intentionally included it in a press release.
So, in the new dc vernacular, she went ‘dark woke’.
The strategy is literally-swear more. Be more forceful. Bait trump.
Which is illustrated in Chuck Schumer’s comment.... quote...“we keep learning how Pete Hegseth put lives at risk,” senate minority leader chuck Schumer said. “But Trump is still too weak to fire him.”
See? The baiting tone?
Elissa Slotkin...a democrat from Michigan...said...
“You can’t turn chicken shizzle into chicken salad,”
Nice. That’s a sitting US congresswoman. And this ‘snappy new attitude’ follows a few weeks of jasmine Crockett- and to some extent- AOC- dropping all sorts of profanity and making all sorts of genuinely nasty comments and accusations about president trump.
This is what ‘dark woke’ is...according to the ny times today...so be ready for more of it.Get ready for an even nastier-and far more profane- democrat party. As a strategy.
This is what America wants?
As long as this country has existed-the heavy bias has been in favor of voters wanting our elected leaders to be ‘better people’. More civil people. We certainly didn’t want to see them swearing their heads off and talking nasty to each other at every turn...
But apparently. That’s what today’s desperate democrats think their ‘younger voters’ want to see. And so- as a strategy- they’re going to trash 250 years of norms and higher ideals and head for the gutter.
Amazing.
And here’s the thing: just like voters-and young people-don’t want to see Liz Warren, and Bernie Sanders, and Chuck Schumer try to ‘act cool’...or make Tik Tok videos...to prove they’re hip’ and ‘with it’... They also don’t want to hear them swear.
They really think having Liz warren out there dropping f-bombs.... sounding like Katherine Hepburn in ‘On Golden Pond’...as she does now?
Really?
And that...effing...Donald Trump. This...emm...effer...and his tariffs...
Really?
You want to hear that from your sitting senators?
It might get a cheer from the morons in the audience who were dumb enough to turn out to see these fools.... but that’s about it. It’s going to be a huge turnoff to the American people, in general.
Man-these democrats are lost and floundering-aren’t they?
Did you see that four democrat house members took a quote...pilgrimage....to meet Kilmer Abrego Garcia.
This guy is a mid-level ms-13 gang member. Was in this country illegally, preying on Americans for years, and we have democrat lawmakers literally lining up at the airport to fly down to meet him and have their photos taken with him?
Good Lord.
These are four complete backbenchers. I just read you, their names. Name even one of them back to me.
You can’t, can you? These are four- anonymous- democrat house members whose own constituents probably couldn’t even name them...but their presence down there is going to increase pressure on president trump to bring Abrego Garcia back to America?
I find that unlikely.
And we talked yesterday about the clumsy pivot the dems are trying to make now that their narrative about Garcia being a loving Maryland husband and father has been destroyed by the truth. He’s a gang member and spousal abuser and maybe even a human trafficker....and immigration judges and law enforcement and national security agencies confirm it...
And so that has senator Chris van Hollen -who has spoken so lovingly about Garcia for three weeks-suddenly changing his tune and saying he’s ‘not defending the man...he’s defending the process’. Chris van Hollen went from calling Garcia an ‘innocent American’ for weeks- to suddenly saying he’s not defending ‘him’. Just the process.
That was quite a rhetorical flip yesterday.
But listen to how these other dems are -still-talking about this illegal dirtbag.
Meanwhile- this ‘wonderful new addition’ to the DNC....arrogant punk David Hogg......the DNC’s new vice chairman...was on ABC’s Sunday panel...and insisted Garcia is an ‘American’ and was ‘not ms-13’.
He was trying hard to ‘talk over ‘and ‘shout down’ Reince Priebus, who was also on the panel.
And Reince was correct, of course. And hogg came off looking like a fool.
But-what’s the political strategery behind these democrats insisting on making a dangerous illegal gang member the poster boy for their party...and for their open-borders immigration policies?
The optics and the effort here-genuinely-aren’t adding up for me.
Rasmussen polling just put out another survey on illegal immigration- and one of its findings is: even most democrats are demanding criminal illegals be deported.
I don’t know what they are doing here.
In fact, I had a clip of Simone Sanders and one of her panelists on MSNBC-claiming that the ‘black community’ was ‘with’ Abrego Garcia in his fight to be returned to the states...because...if trump can just kidnap and deport Garcia....Black people are next.
That was their idiotic claim. And after it ran, I said: I’d love to see the polling on that. Because there is-no way- Black Americans are on the side of Abrego Garcia in this fight.
Well, here we have our answer. Just a day later. Seven in ten black voters- 71 percent- say deport all criminal illegals.That would certainly include dangerous gang member Kilmer Abrego Garcia.
And so- if the dems want to keep spiraling on this anti-America, pro-illegal thug, strategy of theirs, fine.
I say-great. Keep it up. I’d love to see aoc down there, in her white pantsuit, crying in front of a sentry fence, before the week is over.
CNN’s pollster, saying according to their newest data- Americans love what trump is doing.
The Dems are dopes in how they are playing this.
