(Play the winning music)
It’s been a little while since we’ve done an official ‘winning segment’.... for reasons I’ve explained before-
Because-as fast as trump and his team are moving-we could do numerous winning segments every day-and ‘wear out the soundtrack’.
But- I want to highlight a series of moves related to illegal immigration today-that are important wins for the American people.
First-i love this move, and it will be used against any country whose leaders refuse to take back their illegals: Sudan won’t take back its illegal aliens-and so-over the weekend- secretary of state Marco Rubio canceled and revoked all active visas to the Sudanese who are here-and said no others will be issued until Sudan’s president agrees to take his illegals back.
Because it always is.
What a terrible place, the Sudan must be.
But we, in America, have no obligation to take in ‘any amount’ of their people....and the people of the Sudan have no ‘greater right’ to come here because of what is happening in their own country.
In fact- that basic premise- which has driven our US foreign policy for so long- needs to change.
It is high time for this notion to change that: America has a ‘special’ obligation to take in the worst and the most desperate people from the worst and most desperate parts of the world.
No. We don’t.
It’s a lovely sentiment that has been wrapped around US immigration policies for at least 100 years- based on the way our country was founded.
But- just because this country was founded by people who were escaping from their own perceived persecutions-doesn’t mean that we need to be ‘forever the place’ that takes in the worst-off and most desperate.
It's yet another thing that makes us the global punching bag in this complicated and dangerous era in which there are now 8-billion people living on this planet-and billions live in desperate situations, globally.
And what America-certainly-does not need more of now- are people from Muslim-extremist and ‘warlord’ countries.
Nope.
Biden’s regime was going out of its way to extend special exemptions and direct flights ‘in’ for all sorts of people in all sorts of desperate countries- and putting more and more unsustainable burdens onto the American people-and it needs to stop.
I’m glad Trump’s team is finding ways to stop it. That’s a win.
(play the sounder)
The Trump team wants to redirect the money to pay for some of our mass deportation efforts.
Fantastic.
Pro-illegal activists are screaming over this-of course- and insist that congress allocated that money to -help illegals settle here- and so, it can’t be used to deport them.
Trump’s team is arguing...oh, no. No. The language that spells out what this money can be used for...suggests that it can be used to ‘keep them more comfortable’...as we deport them.
Fantastic.
This is one of those arguments from trump’s team that-if it’s directly challenged in a lawsuit- probably won’t hold water-
But after so many years of having the good, hard working, American people kicked around...and kicked around...and always on the losing end of funding more govt programs to make sure foreigners are provided for-
Especially after the Biden era in which ‘we, the American people’ constantly took a back seat to foreign illegals who- we, then-needed to pay to keep comfortable, and fed, and housed, and healthy-
Etc.-
I’ve got to say-I love the era of not only getting back to putting the American people first-
But I’ve got to admit- I’m loving the era of ‘snotty responses and silly spinning’...in response to leftist whining.
I love how Trump and his team members are always ‘giving it right back’ to the leftist a-holes who have always gotten away with doing the same things -to us.
Biden would erase billions in student loan debt and load that onto the backs of taxpayers.... but Trump can’t flip the script on some funding related to illegals? And use it against them?
Bull-plop.
So-i love this take: oh, no, no. If you read the way the allocation is phrased...all it says is the money used to be needed to care for the needs of these illegals. We’re using it to care for them- right up until we deport them. Their flight home is going to be more comfortable now...thank you for being concerned....
That’s a win.
(play the cleanser)
The next win: is Trump’s Dept of housing and urban development blocking illegals from getting federal housing assistance and/or any access to public housing or HUD grant programs.
Oh-and uhm....
If you are a sanctuary city or state- yeah-
Hud funding is blocked to you, too....
Love it.
That’s another win.
(play the cleanser)
And I’ll end by also labeling this a win Trump’s border patrol leaders are now ‘back to’ enforcing our border laws as intended-and that includes watching traitors within their own midst, as well.
Last week- two border inspectors in southern California were fired-and charged with taking bribes from the Mexican cartels in exchange for allowing illegals to enter the country without passports- or any examination- when they were on duty.
And before you point to their last names and say ‘they’re both Hispanic’.
I’d point out that probably half of our border patrol agents are Hispanic and have Hispanic last names-and do their jobs admirably.
Once again-race has nothing to do with it, here. Either you are a decent person and a patriot with some morals.... or you’re a bum who will sell out your country for some extra cash.
Exposing and prosecuting rogue border agents like this- is just more winning.
