My friends-after this weekend-it’s safe to say: Tim Walz isn’t even a real hunter. He’s even lying about this part of his resume.
Or at least greatly exaggerating it.
If any-hunter- saw the video of his so-called pheasant hunt this weekend- they know Walz doesn’t bird hunt.
Video immediately went viral of Tim Walz struggling to load his own bird gun....and so.... everyone on social media is going to see that-
And for non-hunters-
You should know that- no hunter-struggles to load or operate ‘his own’ gun. Maybe a loaner that you’re a little unfamiliar with-but even there- if the buddy you are borrowing it from shows you once-you’ve probably ‘got it’.
No, they slide in from below, this way.
Okay-got it.
And so-if this was a gun that Walz has -ever-shot before, much less his, I’d eat my hat. And we didn’t’ see him shoot it on Saturday, because his party didn’t scare a single bird his way. But he claimed it was his gun:
It doesn’t hurt your shoulder at all-if you don’t shoot it. And he didn’t shoot it.
But- all sorts of things were wrong with this so-called hunting video.
I noticed that-before the hunt started- he and his alleged buddies got into their very best hunting gear- then-for some reason-left the trucks without their guns.... walked several yards into a field....and were then, i guess, ‘briefed’ about how this hunt was going to go.
Only to then walk all the way back to the trucks to get their guns.
First- i don’t know what hunt really requires some sort of official- let’s all get in a circle and talk about it ‘briefing’...
Normally it’s casually, as you gear up, right next to the trucks- it’s a long, narrow field, we’ll start on this end and push them that way-
Good. Let’s go.
But second- not having the guns in your hands-ready to go. Why? Leave them at the truck and must go back for them? After this quick briefing?
I don’t want to make too much out of it-but it was all staged-and not well staged- and there’s no way this man is a regular hunter.
The video of him trying to load his gun is embarrassing to watch...and had John Nolte labeling Tim Walz the ‘real life Elmer Fudd’.
And he pretty much is, isn’t he?
Dopey, round headed, bumbling white guy?
But- are voters starting to see what a clown Tim Walz is?
Yes.
The answer is yes. Rasmussen’s latest polling has JD Vance completely flipping the script on the vice presidential pick-and now being the more popular selection.
The common belief is that vice presidential picks don’t swing votes-and they normally don’t.
This time? I’m not so certain.
And no, I don’t believe anyone is going to change their vote based on Tim Walz, alone, no.
But his serial lying. His stolen valor. His genuinely boobish nature...is going to be factored in by voters as another reason that this ticket isn’t ready for prime time.
In that way-i do believe the Walz pick is hurting the dems, yes.
Folks-if Kamala’s a lightweight and a fraud-that’s bad enough. If her ‘next up’ is an even bigger, more clownish fraud?
Why would you possibly vote for the ticket?
Because they aren’t Donald Trump or JD Vance.
Sorry-that doesn’t cut it. Then either stay home or skip that race and vote in the down-ballot races and the referenda-
But anyone claiming to be a conservative or republican who is now saying they’re going to vote for kamala-is genuinely, terribly lost.
It’s Trump derangement syndrome, or it’s a cry for attention. But it’s not smart. It’s not strategic.
Yeah, let’s let this same group of destructive, America-hating democrats run the country for another four years....and if it’s not ashes by then.
If the republic isn’t already lost...then maybe, we can beat them four years from now with someone we like better.
That’s just stupid.
Let’s give them more years to keep appointing judges and rigging and packing the courts. Let’s give them another 4 years to mismanage the economy and heap trillions more in debt on our grandkids. Let’s maybe even give them the opening to control the congress and end the filibuster and ram home the schemes that would ensure permanent, ‘forever’ control of the federal government.
All because we just don’t like Donald Trump.
You don’t understand jay-he’s an existential threat to the country because about 200 pinheads got violent on January 6th.
No, he’s not. And you’re a dope for believing that.
What if he doesn’t leave office peacefully?
He’ll be 85 years old...and he’s already said if he loses this time, he won’t run again.
But- in 2028, if trump doesn’t want to leave...everyone around him will say...it’s time to go. Just like they did in 2020.
We have peaceful transitions of power in this country, and if you’re really worried about some coup in which Trump barricades himself in the white house or has the military turning on the country to keep him in power-then you really are a delusional dope.
People forget the system worked in 2020-despite trump’s objections and attempts to slow down the certification process to ensure a fair election. Those around him like pence and bill bahr and most of his staffers and appointees at the time said. It’s time to admit you lost and move on, sir. The states have certified their elections. It's over.
That reminds me: there was a great exchange this weekend between JD Vance and a NY times reporter in which he says, of course there will be peaceful transition of power after 4 more years of Trump.

That’s actually a very good answer to what has become a snotty and meaningless hill for democrats and never-Trumpers to die on.
For some reason-this is their alamo: we got to keep obsessing over 2020-and whether Trump and republicans admit it was a fair election and he lost fair and square.
Well-it wasn’t a fair election. It was a covid-era free for all in which their side gleefully ignored all the rules and then simply ‘claimed’ afterward that it was an honest election.
And therefore-you will never. Ever. Bully most of us into ever agreeing that trump honestly lost that election. No.
But it-literally-does not matter anymore-because the transition of power took place and Biden, and Harris got their term- which has been a bleeping disaster-
And so- why obsess over the question?
I hear never Trumpers still obsessing over it...as a matter of truth or honesty. The truth is important. The truth is important.
Yes. And the truth is- that was a weirdly screwed up election in which-all the sudden- none of the election rules applied and no court challenges were accepted- and we’ll never know how ‘fair’ it ever was.
That’s the truth. You clearly can’t handle the truth and move on-but that’s the truth.
