The least shocking news of the week- And yet the most disturbing news of the week-
Is that the Biden/Harris administration skimmed a billion dollars out of our FEMA budget-and spent it on supporting illegal immigrants.
Many people down south-in these areas affected by hurricane Helene are peeee-ooooed at the Biden administration’s lack of response-
It took several days for Joe Biden to even activate FEMA or get even somewhat involved in the disaster relief-
It took -seven-days for either he or kamala to visit the area and express any concern for the people there.
And when Kamala finally arrived -in Georgia- the administration had her announce a whopping- whopping 750 dollars’ worth of help for people who have had their houses washed away.
That is the Biden/Harris level of financial commitment to these-American- people...after watching them send tens of millions of dollars to Ukraine-and Israel-
And after watching them spend hundreds of billions of dollars on flooding the country with illegal aliens from around the globe-and making sure they are all comfortable here.
If kamala thought she was going to get credit for giving away some taxpayer money to these victims, wow, was she disappointed.
She and the Biden regime got soundly slammed-all day yesterday- on social media and in many corners of the news media....for how this administration and the democrats running our big cities have been loading thousands of dollars onto debit cards for illegals. Paying for their rent. Paying for their food. Handing them government assistance that analysts say amounts to somewhere between nine and thirteen-thousand dollars- per illegal.
And they aren’t even Americans. But clearly today’s democrats care more about them as-future democrat voters- than they care about the American people who have just lost everything down south.
Heck-president Biden isn’t even ordering the east coast dock workers back to work- to ensure that re-building materials and other supplies get to the hurricane damaged parts of the country and don’t delay reconstruction efforts.
Folks- Joe Biden could do that-with just an order and a signature- and he’s so disinterested in helping these struggling Americans- he won’t do it.
He didn’t even want to leave the beach-seven days later- to stop in a flood zone and pretend he cared. He finally sent Kammy and she comes with a pathetic 750 dollars for people who have lost everything. People who literally don’t know where their families or their children will sleep tonight.
This is such an infuriating display of indifference and incompetence that no one associated with this current Biden regime should ever be allowed to hold public office again. From Kamala to Buttigieg to Mayorkas- none of them.
But the news that ‘there’s no FEMA funding left because it’s all been used on the illegals’ …really enraged people yesterday. Rightly so.
And, of course, it was the scummy Alejandro Mayorkas who ultimately admitted this to the media.
That is code for ‘using taxpayer money to make illegals comfortable and get them onto government programs so that they’ll vote democrat someday.
It was also pointed out yesterday that FEMA’s current mission statement- under Biden and Mayorkas- doesn’t even include ‘disaster relief’ among the top two goals of the agency, anymore.
Instead...
There are still people in these Appalachian towns- 8 or 9 days later-saying they still haven’t seen a FEMA agent or anyone from government who have come to check on them.
Even longtime dc insiders admit: Biden’s FEMA agency was caught completely unprepared for a natural disaster- much less one as catastrophic as this. They weren’t caught ‘flat footed’.
They weren’t caught ‘with their pants down’.
They were caught sitting on the toilet doing a crossword puzzle.
Hundreds of Americans remain missing. Locals are using mules, drones, and helicopters to try to get supplies to stranded people and to try to get elderly people to safety...
FEMA’s nowhere to be found....and Kamala’s response is to parachute in... take a short walk down a muddy road so her campaign can get video...speak for 10 minutes and promise everyone 750 bucks from government...then leave. Back to the campaign trail.
You cannot hate today’s democrat leaders enough. Sorry to say it. But it’s true.
These are the people who savaged- savaged-George W Bush for a much better response to a much bigger disaster. But because this is democrat mismanagement, Biden and Harris are supposed to get a complete pass on their incompetence and indifference and lack of interest in leading.
Folks- if Kamala Harris doesn’t want to dive in and ‘lead’ on something like this- she should never be president. Flat out. No qualifiers.
If her instinct as an elected official- much less- vice president of the United States isn’t- let’s get to work- she shouldn’t be president.
Look at how Ron DeSantis jumped right in. Didn’t hesitate. He’s been working sun-up to sunrise every day for nine days. I have no doubt that he is one of many, many, mayors, councilmen, state lawmakers, governors and governors’ officials doing so...along with- by the way- national guardsmen and FEMA workers who can’t understand why they still haven’t been given clear orders or organized to react-
Joe is on the beach and Kammy’s in Cali doing fundraisers. Infuriating.
Now we learn that Biden’s genuinely putrid homeland security secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, has spent nearly all of FEMA’s money on his illegal alien ‘future voter’ project, and has nothing left for Americans.
If you’re an American whose house was just washed away- ‘eventually we’ll get you 750 bucks. Wait by your mailbox for it.
Oh, your mailbox is halfway down the mountain in a jumble of debris?
Well...then our hands are tied.’
As congressman Jim Jordan put it on X:
And that was the money-specifically allocated by congress- for emergency disaster relief. That needs to be stressed.
Then there’s the incredible flood of u-s taxpayer money that the Biden/Harris regime has been heaping onto Ukraine, Afghanistan, and other foreign countries- including many of which-are ‘enemy nations!’
For example- this year alone...Biden and the dems have sent over 24-billion dollars to Ukraine.
Five are ‘enemy nations’ and home countries for Islamist terror organizations.
Biden/Harris sent them money, anyway.
But when u-s citizens are in need? They suddenly have no money.
And as Donald trump suggested yesterday: Biden and Harris have botched-every. Part- of this hurricane relief effort.
Moreover, his efforts and Elon musk’s efforts have continued all week. It’s not as if trump only went there for the photo-op, like kamala did.
Trump and his team have been continuing to coordinate relief efforts – fly in planeloads of goods- get Elon’s star link systems out into the field-and to people who have been cut off from society for a week now.
Musk and Trump have been launching and underwriting legitimate relief efforts for a week-as Biden adjusted his beach umbrella and kamala did podcasts with influencers.
In fact-this is ironic: Biden and his team had ‘so little’ to tout in terms of ‘help’ they are providing, that Biden tried to take credit for the star link system that musk and trump have hustled to get into place.
Biden literally tried to take credit for....and we’re directing the star link system...to help with communication....
This is even though his team hasn’t done that- and - even though Biden and his people -intentionally- froze musk and star link out of a 42-billion-dollar program to bring internet access out to the rural parts of the country.
We’ve talked about this incredible waste of money and how-3 years later- kamala and joe haven’t linked a single person or business to the internet- thru this program. Not even one.
Where-as, musk could have had star link broadband in everyone’s house-no matter how remote their homes were- for a fraction of the cost.
Musk just blasted Biden for that this week, in fact.
Elon musk is an incredible gift to this country that the democrats only want to harm and stop at every turn now...because he’s not a democrat.
