Bud waves the white flag

Budweiser has now officially ended its ad campaign using this clownish transgender performer- Dylan Mulvaney.

And i think it’s perfectly appropriate to question-at this point-whether Mulvaney is really ‘gender confused,’ or whether he is simply a gay man doing performance art.

Either way- bud light execs were dumb enough to cut an endorsement deal with him- that gets Mulvaney hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars, and he’ll get to keep that money, I’m sure-

But- this campaign was so insulting to loyal bud drinkers, and women, and the gay and LGBTIQQ communities-

That after a week-long controversy and a nearly 7-billion-dollar loss in share value- the Anheuser- Bush CEO finally issued a statement of apology-that still wasn’t really an apology-

And-more importantly-ended the promotional campaign with this little mincing fruit loop. In-BEV, the parent company. Quote...

But there was no, ‘I’m sorry’...or ‘I apologize to our customers’...or ‘we can do better.’

It was the ultimate non-apology, apology.

This guy tried to get out from under the controversy without ever apologizing or admitting that he understood why the customers were so upset.

And as for the woman who decided she was going to ‘woke-ify’ Bud Light to appeal to younger beer drinkers...

She’s been silent this entire time, too.

This is the VP of marketing-Alissa Heiner-Shyd, who was inadvertently boasting about how she was going to destroy the brand...in interviews.... a month before roll-out of these Dylan Mulvaney cans...

In the marketing world-this is already going down as one of the biggest p-r and marketing disasters in history. Right up there with ‘new coke’ and Abercrombie and Fitch execs destroying the brand.

Bud execs sought out this clown, and then abandoned him when the controversy hit.Bud execs remained silent for nearly two full weeks, people, and this VP of marketing still won’t come out of hiding.

Folks-this backlash got so bad that several bar owners said they would stop selling bud light- at least temporarily-because it was leading to angry arguments and even bar fights...in their establishments.

Anyone caught ordering a bud light was getting harassed by other patrons....and vice versa.

This is also about a lot more than just ‘Bud Light’.

This is a fight against this new wave of transgender bullying and indoctrination of children, as well as a fight against how insulting it is to women and girls.

One of the positive side-effects of this controversy, to me, is that bud’s move clarified for a lot of people-especially women- that in a lot of ways.... transgenderism is the new black face.

That in- most ways-these Dylan Mulvaney's and drag queens- are just engaging in performance art that is demeaning to women. They’re not celebrating women. They’re mocking women.

Just as Amos and Andy weren’t ‘celebrating’ black people and black culture-they were mocking it.
