-And- out of no-where, Jussie Smollett gets his racial hoax convictions overturned.

Wow.

Who had this one on their ‘current events’ bingo card?

Completely out of nowhere-this racist clown gets the members of the leftist Illinois supreme court to overturn his conviction for him. Wow.

And he’s still a tainted man. He’s still an embarrassing jackass who no one in the entertainment industry wants to touch. In that sense- I think there has been some justice done here- for his racial hoax-

But let’s not forget how much damage it did-nationally- before Chicago police revealed that it has been a pre-planned hoax.

And one that involved two muscle-head body builders.

Sure, Jussie gets off, but where’s the justice for the Osundairo brothers?

Where’s the justice for the drug-dealing muscle-heads?  

They just wanted some cash. They were just the ‘gophers’ and the henchmen for this Smollett idiot. And their criminal records stick?

And if we are asking questions: did. Jussie. Ever get to eat that sub sandwich?

We’ve still never gotten an answer to that, have we?

But what a joke: the libs on the Illinois court ruled that the special prosecutor who chose to prosecute Jussie when the corrupt, pear-headed, Kim Foxx wouldn’t.... Violated Smollett’s fifth amendment rights.... because Foxx had dropped earlier charges.

The ruling is BS. but it gets a rich, privileged, liberal gay man off the hook.                                                  

Michelle Obama famously insisted we needed ‘justice for Jussie’.

Kamala Harris rushed to decry the sort of hate and racism that would lead to such a terrible hate crime...and called for justice for Jussie....

And as Dave Chappelle later brilliantly admitted: people in the black community immediately knew it was a hoax.

They knew this idiot hadn’t been attacked a three in the morning in a ritzy part of town- by Maga crackers who were skulking in the shadows.

I loved the details police provided later that indicated...when they showed up at Jussie’s apartment-he still had the fake noose around his neck.... like a prop...when any normal person who had been attacked in that manner would have taken it off in disgust immediately.

Another detail: Smollett allegedly struggled and fought with his attackers-but the sub sandwich he was carrying back home and had in his hands when this all ‘went down’ .... was perfectly intact. Not so much as a crease in the bun, afterward.

Fantastic.

I’d love to get the legal takes of people smarter than the rest of us on what the law and constitution-really say- on this matter, and whether this is defensible ‘double jeopardy’ sort of ruling, because I doubt it is.

This looks more like the leftist Illinois supreme court doing a favor for a brother who checks all their identity boxes... But there’s also logic to it in that-

In this country- the individual citizen is supposed to be given the benefit of doubt...and our courts normally err on the side of ‘going softer’ rather than ‘going harder’ on people in situations like this.

So, I think it’s a defensible verdict, even if it’s not a fair one.

A former federal prosecutor quoted by Fox-

"Jussie Smollett is Bill Cosby 2.0. Not because of what he did, but because of what the prosecutor did," he told Fox News Digital. "Kim Foxx shockingly agreed to drop the charges against Smollett for staging a hate crime, lying about it, and costing Chicago PD countless hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars."

"By the time a new special prosecutor took over, it was too late because Smollett had already forfeited his bail and performed community service," Rahmani added. "The Illinois Supreme Court held there was an agreement and Smollett lived up to his end."

"This is similar to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling a previous district attorney agreed not to prosecute Cosby. It’s a shame because Smollett has never accepted responsibility for the hoax, and now he will never face real justice. And it’s an example of another soft on crime prosecutor in our nation’s biggest cities."

Well, of course he didn’t. That had already been litigated in his trial, and a unanimous jury found him guilty of a fake hate crime.

Smollett’s team didn’t want to come up in front of the Illinois supreme court:

Mr., Geragos, was the bun of the sandwich creased?

Excuse me, your, honor?

You heard the question, sir: did the bun of the sub sandwich even have so much as a crease in it-despite the fact that your defendant allegedly took it into battle against two large Maga crackers?

Geragos didn’t want to go over that, again, and so the actual details of the crime- just- never came up during the supreme court hearing.

Either way-this goes down as one of the most idiotic racial hoaxes of our time- and it should be a reminder to every single person in America that your first instinct should be ‘skepticism’ when you hear about some alleged hate crime like this.

Time and time again, the racial crimes that have the most overt and ugly claims of racism attached to them-are hoaxes perpetrated by leftists who- want- want- America to be a cesspool of racial hate, when it’s not.

So, they stage it.

And the fact that Jussie Smollett was certain that his self-created victim status was going to bring him more fame-and more money in Hollywood- tells you all you need to know about the perverse power that ‘racial victim status’ now has in America.

And boy, do the left want to try to use it at every opportunity.

Did. He ever. Eat. The sandwich?
