I know we’ve gone thru some of these numbers related to Biden and the democrat’s terrible inflation: one of their worst -completely unnecessary-and unforced errors of the last four years.
It still infuriates me that ‘none of this needed to happen’. All they needed to do was listen to literally-every single economist in America-and not do such a stupid thing as passing the ‘American rescue act’ once they got into power in 2021...
But they did screw us all, terribly, and we can’t go back and un-ring that bell.
And so-now that the election is over and the democrats have less reason to lie and spin-now it can be more easily agreed upon: the democrat’s foolish inflationary gambit raised the cost of living on Americans by 21 percent, overall, or an average of 5.4 percent every year that he was in office.
And for the record-annual inflation is still up close to three percent- at 2.7 for October-and still isn’t down below two percent, which is where the healthiest economies should have it.
But- not only did Biden and the dems give us a 20 percent cost of living increase over four years- they also gave the American workers a 3.1 percent drop in their weekly earnings.
Yep. Paychecks went down, too, even as prices went up. This is the ‘truth’ about the Biden economy and this numbskull’s legacy.
This is not a healthy economy. Trump is not inheriting a ‘great situation’ as Biden and his lefty loyalists keep insisting.
The American people are still hurting-and will continue to hurt-due to the actions of Biden and the foolish and radical democrats of his era.
In fact, the Wall St Journal did a deep dive into how Biden’s advisors and the dem congressional leaders decided to-immediately- flood the country with nearly two-trillion dollars more in spending asa way to buy votes and try to create a way for them to take credit for a booming economy...which had already started booming under trump.
It's interesting stuff-and among the things we learn-Joe Biden hadn’t even hit inauguration day, and his senior advisors had concocted this two-trillion-dollar give-away to their voters.
Yes- this is another thing that none of the ‘smart people’ have ever really talked about, as we’ve focused on this inflation Biden touched off.
We talked about it, occasionally, on this show: how it shouldn’t be up to the fed, and the fed alone, to bring down inflation or manipulate prices...or price hikes.
There are any number of policy changes a regime can make -including slowing the spending- rolling back tariffs that are passed onto customers in higher prices- stop printing money and overspending the federal budget by 50 percent-etc.
Biden’s team could have-and should have-done a number of things to try to help tame inflation, themselves, instead, Biden famously left it up to the fed: as if he had no role in touching off screamingly high inflation....and also had no role to play in trying to tame it.
What. A lying jackass.
And so, this story goes thru a few ways that Biden team members suggested they make moves to try to tame this inflation-and Biden, along with a different set of advisors, always said no.
And so- to be clear: Biden and these idiots touched off 40 year high-runaway inflation-and then -intentionally- decided they would do nothing to stop it...or try to lessen its sting-on you and your family.
This is scummy and irresponsible stuff, here folks, proving that Joe Biden is the worst president-ever.
Remember-runaway inflation was only one of his major bleep-ups. This is just -one way- that he and his radical team of idiots decided to screw over the American people.
Biden and his team were big enough dopes to touch off rampant, across the board, harmful runaway inflation...and were also big enough dopes that they had no idea how to fix it.
Bottom line. Worst administration ever.
And now that he’s out of office- let’s hope the history books get it right-and let’s hope that the younger generation of democrat leaders in the country remember the lesson- when-years from now, ‘president AOC’ or ‘Rashida Talib’ proposes a 3-trillion dollar stimulus package, or a nine-trillion dollar socialist manifesto sold as a climate change package.
