Bryan Kohberger, Suspect In Idaho College Students' Murders Reveals Alibi

The man accused of killing four University of Idaho students in 2022 has revealed his alibi for the night of the murders. Lawyers for Bryan Kohberger submitted a court document stating that he was driving his car in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022, when Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Madison Mogen were brutally murdered in their off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho.

Kohberger's lawyers said they would call an expert witness on cell site location information to testify that Kohberger wasn't near the home at the time of the murders.

"Mr. Kohberger was out driving in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022; as he often did to hike and run and/or see the moon and stars," his lawyers wrote in the court filing. "He drove throughout the area south of Pullman, Washington, west of Moscow, Idaho, including Wawawai Park."

The court filing said that Kohberger would routinely take drives at night because he was too busy with school work to go hiking during the day.

Kohberger was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary and pleaded not guilty.
