The man accused of killing four University of Idaho students in 2022 hasĀ revealed his alibi for the night of the murders. Lawyers forĀ Bryan KohbergerĀ submitted a court document stating that he was driving his car in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022, whenĀ Ethan Chapin,Ā Kaylee Goncalves,Ā Xana Kernodle, andĀ Madison MogenĀ were brutally murdered in their off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho.

Kohberger's lawyers said they would call an expert witness on cell site location information to testify thatĀ Kohberger wasn't near the homeĀ at the time of the murders.

"Mr. Kohberger was out driving in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022; as he often did to hike and run and/or see the moon and stars,"Ā his lawyers wrote in the court filing. "He drove throughout the area south of Pullman, Washington, west of Moscow, Idaho, including Wawawai Park."

The court filing said that KohbergerĀ would routinely takeĀ drives at night because he was too busy with school work to go hiking during the day.

Kohberger was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary and pleaded not guilty.
