Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson promised an investigation into the FBI's raid of former President Trump's home at Mar-a-Lago if Republicans win back the Senate this November.
Johnson, who is up for re-election himself, serves as Ranking Member of the Permanent Select Committee on Investigations.
"If I win and we win the majority, I’ll be the Chairman of the Permanent Select Committee on Investigations and you can bet I’ll be looking into this and many other things," he told "The Dan O'Donnell Show" Tuesday morning.
Johnson expressed his indignation over Monday evening's events during a wide-ranging interview.
"I was shocked when I heard it and I would say outrage," he said. "People need to understand how unprecedented this is."
