Clips of Kamala You'll Never See Again

Now that Kamala Harris is Joe Biden's running mate, it's a safe bet that the mainstream media will never run these clips of Harris ever again. Whether she's decimating Biden over his opposition to school integration or saying she believes his sexual assault accusers, Harris just might be the best weapon the Trump campaign has in its arsenal.

The Battle Over Busing

During the first presidential primary debate in June of 2019, Harris confronted Biden over his close relationship with segregationists within the Democratic Party and strenuous opposition to school busing in what became the signature moment of Harris' run for president.

"There was a little girl in California who was a part of the second class to integrate her public schools and she was bused to school every day," she told him. "And that little girl was me."

Tulsi's Takedown

In the second debate a little more than a month later, fellow Democratic candidate Tulsi Gabbard defended Biden and absolutely leveled Harris over her actions as California Attorney General.

"Senator Harris says she’s proud of her record as a prosecutor and that she’ll be a prosecutor president, but I’m deeply concerned about this record," Gabbard said. "There are too many examples to cite, but she put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana. She blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of California. And she fought to keep cash bail system in place that impacts poor people in the worst kind of way."

"I Believe Them"

Months earlier, on the eve of Biden announcing that he was entering the race, multiple women came forward with allegations that Biden had inappropriately touched or even outright groped them. Harris was asked whether she believed those accusers since, like most Democrats, she had said during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings that all women should she believed.

"I believe them," she said of Biden's accusers.

Comparing ICE to the KKK

Harris hasn't just limited her harsh words to her now-running mate. During a Senate hearing in 2018, she actually compared Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to the Ku Klux Klan in a truly craven exchange with acting ICE director Ronald Vitiello.

VITIELLO: “Well, the Klan was a — what we would call today a domestic terrorist group.”
HARRIS: “Why? Why would we call them domestic terrorist group?”
VITIELLO: “Because they tried to use fear and force to change political environment.”
HARRIS: “And what was the motivation for the use of fear and force?”
VITIELLO: “It was based on race and ethnicity.”
HARRIS: “Right. Are you aware of the perception of many about how the power and the discretion at ICE is being used to enforce the laws? Do you see any parallels?”
VITIELLO: “I do not see any parallels between sworn officers and agents —“
HARRIS: “I’m talking about perception.”
VITIELLO: “I do not see a parallel between what is constitutionally mandated as it relates to enforcing the law —“
HARRIS: “Are you aware that there’s a perception —“
VITIELLO: “I see no perception that puts ICE in the same category as the KKK. Is that what you’re asking me?”
HARRIS: “No, I’m very specific about what I’m asking you. Are you aware of a perception that the way that the discretion —“
VITIELLO: “I see no parallel.”

A Co-Sponsor of the Green New Deal

Just two months after that shocking line of questioning, Harris announced her co-sponsorship of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's uber-radical Green New Deal; a $93 trillion series of proposals so laughably ridiculous and poorly received by the public that the Democratic Party has spent the past two years pretending that they never existed. Harris, however, couldn't stop praising them.

"I am supporting the Green New Deal," she told a campaign crowd.

Naturally, the radical proposals included in the Green New Deal would put many in the energy sector out of work. When Harris was asked about this, she shrugged her shoulders and suggested that they find new jobs.

"We have to encourage that those industries do better in terms of giving those workers an ability to transition into the jobs of the future such as renewable energy," she told a reporter.

Coal and natural gas jobs aren't the only thing Harris promised to phase out. She also said she would ban plastic straws.

"Plastic straws are a big thing right now," CNN anchor Erin Burnett asked her during a climate change town hall event. "Do you ban plastic straws?"

"I think we should," Harris answered. "Yes."

"They are Stupid"

Finally, in a newly surfaced clip from 2014 that will almost certainly never make it to the mainstream press, Harris disparaged young people as stupid and poor decision-makers.

"What else do we know about this population, 18 to 24? They are stupid!" she told a crowd. "They make really poor decisions!"
