The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has removed new COVID-19 related guidance for the holidays from its website just a couple of days after posting it. On Friday, the CDC's website recommended virtual or outdoor gatherings for the holidays -- or celebrating with family and friends with windows open. But that post was removed Monday. A statement from the CDC sent to ABC News said, "The CDC will share additional guidance soon." The CDC's move comes as Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Biden's chief medical adviser, said Sunday that it was too soon to tell whether people should avoid gathering for Christmas. On Monday, he clarified that statement: "I will be spending Christmas with my family. I encourage people, particularly the vaccinated people who are protected, to have a good, normal Christmas with your family."
