Can we expect sedition charges against Maxine Waters? What about an impeachment push in the House of Representatives?
Waters just committed the same ‘crime’ as former President Trump, and has set off an insurrection in this country that will cost people their lives.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters said on Saturday night that if Derek Chauvin is not found guilty of murder for the death of George Floyd that activists must “get more confrontational” on “the street” because the activists need to “make sure that they know we mean business.”
Waters made the remarks alongside protesters in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, where police shot and killed 20-year-old Daunte Wright, who had a warrant out for arrest, after he attempted to run from law enforcement officers following a traffic stop.
“We’re looking for a guilty verdict. We’re looking for a guilty verdict. And we’re looking to see if all of this [inaudible] that took place and has been taking place after they saw what happened to George Floyd,” Waters said. “If nothing does not happen, then we know, that we’ve got to not only stay in the street, but we’ve got to fight for justice, but I am very hopefully that I hope that we’re going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty. And if we don’t, we cannot go away.”
When asked what “protesters” should do if they do not get the verdict that they want, Waters responded, “Well, we got to stay on the street.”
Minnesota saw a week of riots last week after the death of Daunte Wright. Stores were looted, cops were attacked, things were set on fire. That from a case where the officer was charged and likely will be found guilty.
The Chauvin trial is a mess, at best. There’s plenty of contradicting evidence about Floyd’s death. There is plenty of evidence that he was high, and had a history of drug and health problems. All it takes is reasonable doubt for the jury to find Chauvin not guilty.
But this? Waters is straight-out intimidating the jury. Waters is making it clear that if they do not get ‘justice’ in court, they will get justice in the streets.
You think a juror may not want to be responsible for death, destruction, and rioting in their home community? Do you not think these jurors are already afraid they will be targeted if they give the ‘wrong verdict.’
Let me say what I said back on January 7th. Political violence is wrong. It is wrong when Trump supporters took it too far. It will be wrong when Democrats and liberal excuse Antifa and BLM thugs who take it too far in Minnesota.
We are at a crucial moment in this country. Everything is political, and we find ourselves splitting because of it. We do not need one more thing to divide this country down political, or racial, or any other lines.
If Maxine Waters was truly a leader, truly believed what Democrats have believed for years, she would be telling the crowds in Minnesota to come together, to find a way to work past this. Instead she is telling them to take to the streets and get more confrontational.
