Our friends on the Left and in the big newsrooms are right. There is no evidence of overwhelming voter fraud that changed the election outcome in any of the swing states.
That is not the same as saying there wasn’t voter fraud in November. That is saying here is no evidence of overwhelming voter fraud that changed the election outcome Wisconsin, Nevada, Georgia, or Pennsylvania.
There was, however, an overwhelming opportunity for voter fraud.
We got the latest yesterday in a report from Matt Kittle at Wisconsin Spotlight.
Kittle found:
- A former Democratic operative, Michael Spitzer-Rubenstein, served as a de facto elections administrator and had access to Green Bay’s absentee ballots days before the election
- Spitzer-Rubenstein asked Green Bay’s clerk if he and his team members could help correct or “cure” absentee ballots like they did in Milwaukee.
- Green Bay’s clerk grew increasingly frustrated with the takeover of her department by the Democrat Mayor’s staff and outside groups.
- Brown County Clerk Sandy Juno said the contract stipulated that Spitzer-Rubenstein would have four of the five keys to the KI Center ballroom where ballots were stored and counted.
- Brown County’s clerk said the city of Green Bay “went rogue.”
The story is tied back to the money that Mark Zuckerberg poured into Wisconsin to ‘help’ with the November election.
It clearly shows that outside ‘help’ was really nothing more than a Democratic get out the vote effort.
This has been the complaint for months. That while there was not one big, single instance of fraud in Wisconsin, there were hundreds or thousands of opportunities for small fraud.
Our elections work because we believe they work. This story shows that the election in Green Bay didn’t work. Or at least wasn’t daily managed.
The report is long, but shows that the group National Vote at Home Institute wormed its way into Green Bay’s city clerk’s election office and essentially took over. The clerk in Green Bay became so frustrated with the interference and bullying, including from the mayor’s office, that she took a leave of absence a few weeks before Election Day, and never returned.
That essentially left the Democratic operatives at National Vote at Home Institute running the election.
Again, there is no evidence that the Democratic operatives tossed out Republican ballots or added Democratic one. There’s no evidence of undercounting or overcounting. But there is a clear opportunity for something to have gone wrong. And there are obvious questions about a massive failure in Green Bay to have elected officials manage the election.
This is exactly what we mean when we say the opportunity for fraud.
