A listener who I’m going to assume was liberal-emailed me yesterday to ask: how do you know Joe Biden’s presidency is going to be so bad?
Why wouldn’t you even give him a chance?
The answer to that question is: because he’s not even in office yet and he has already teed up several really bad and unfortunate moves.
Blindly ignoring trump’s successes in the Middle East-which are isolating and neutering Iran and the terrorist groups it supports...as well as planting the seeds of peace with these Abraham accords-
Blindly ignoring what has worked so well-so Biden can revert back to Obama era policies that so obviously failed.
That’s a blunt object, myopic, entirely political decision that makes no sense.
Vowing to not build another foot of border wall when the border agents make it clear: the 450 miles of-real-wall that we have put up is already making a huge difference....is a myopic politically motivated decision that doesn’t help the country.
Vowing to undo all of the policies that have led to a secured border- policies that Mexico’s president now loves and agrees with- by the way-
Does anyone know that? Mexico’s far left, essentially socialist president- has been publicly
And privately urging Joe Biden to keep trump’s policies in place because it has helped Mexico cure it’s illegal immigration problem to-and has led to a more settled and secure US/Mexico border-
Is anyone aware of that?
To have Biden- on some foolish campaign promise- undo the ‘safe third country’ agreements...the ‘stay in Mexico’ policy- both of which have been game changers...is blunt-force-stupid.
And yet, that’s what Biden is promising.
Joe Biden is-already- a bad president and he hasn’t even been sworn in yet. That’s how I know.
Here’s another -really bad decision- out of far left field: just because his eco-zealot kooks want him to do it...
Folks...killing off the keystone pipeline is super stupid.
Not only is it a project that creates tens of thousands of great paying construction jobs as it’s built- it allows for -far more secure-transport of crude from Canada to the American south andaides in our national energy independence ...if Biden will allow us to keep it going.
Moreover- this pipeline is far, far more eco-friendly than transporting that oil by train or tanker ship....and by the way- the project will be carbon neutral.
Do any Americans- know this?
So, instead of clinging to Pollyannaish notions that we don’t need fossil fuels.... Joe Biden and his admin could step up-and acknowledge that fossil fuels are going to be a long-term part of our energy mix- and use the keystone pipeline as a great example of how our future energy projects can be carbon neutral....
He can acknowledge reality and talk about using and transporting our necessary fossil fuels more cleanly and responsibly...
Or?
Or he can leap to make a mindless, pathetic, political gesture to a group of true wingnuts on the far left.
These are Biden’s options for the keystone pipeline. So which would a ‘good’ president choose?
Which choice would a ‘responsible’ president who really wants to lead and wants to do what’s best for this country make?
Because Biden is promising to make the -wrong one-today. As a first order of business.
For a pathetic pander...Joe Biden is willing to work against America. Erase tens of thousands of great paying -unionized-construction jobs controlled by trade unions that already have the contracts.
Four labor unions reached a project labor agreement last august. With TC energy, the teamsters, the operating engineers, the plumbers and pipefitters union, and laborers international.
Biden is screwing over- a different group of his political supporters- big time- in order to toss this bone to the eco-nuts.
Why?
And why would a smart or ‘good’ president, do that?
This is so dumb that Canadian leaders have gotten involved.
Smart.
There’s nothing smart about this.
He’s hours away from being inaugurated, and he and his team have already outlined four to six-really bad -decisions they are going to make ‘as a first order of business’.
And they are selling them as great moves!
Folks these decisions on keystone, Iran, the border...are so obviously dumb, they are akin to your 17 year old kid insisting he and his friend are going to walk to Madison from here.
Why would you do that? Take the car.
No.
Okay..bike..it’s like...70 miles.
No. We’re walking.
Okay...well, call me when you get to Pewaukee and your feet are bleeding, and I’ll come to pick you up.
Biden’s decisions on these -very important- matters are that dumb.
But they are-far- far- more consequential-and in the instances of the border, the Middle East, and Iran-they are far more dangerous.
No exaggeration here-Biden’s reversal on Iran and how it will re-invigorate them as the bullies and biggest sponsors of terror in the Middle East?
That decision is- honestly- Joe Biden and his people setting new ‘crimes against humanity’ into motion.
No hyperbole or exaggeration needed: unleashing Iran is inviting them to commit new crimes on humanity. And you know it.
Why would any ‘good’ president do that?
