‘Nothing like we’ve ever seen’
It was a busy Memorial Day weekend in Lake Geneva -- after the city council voted to reopen Riviera Beach in time for the holiday weekend. Crowds and cars weaved their way along the Lake Geneva lakefront as boats tooled about and beachgoers soaked up the sun -- sights and sounds synonymous with summer in the southeast Wisconsin tourist town.

Up and down Milwaukee’s lakeshore, people enjoyed sunshine and temperatures in the 80s — with the pandemic on the minds of many. A light breeze greeted groups of people spread about at South Shore Parki n Bay View — from families playing in the water, to couples lounging in the shade, with the smell of burning coals wafting from a distant barbecue.
We took a number of calls and texts from all over the state. Wisconsin was out in full force dispite all the "Karens and Steves"
If the stores are going to open, open up the fitting rooms. Took my 11 year twin daughters shopping for swim suits, have to take everything back today and try again. What difference did it make if we used the fitting room. If you don't want to use them don't.
