So...it took a fake story about border agents whipping black and brown people from horseback for Kamala Harris to resurface-and finally comment- on anything related to the border crisis.
President Biden put her in charge of the border crisis months ago, and she has done absolutely nothing since then.
In fact, over the past week, as the surge of Haitian immigrants in Del Rio became a crisis- reporters on both sides of the aisle were looking for Kammy.
She was nowhere to be found.
On Saturday, she was spotted at a college football game in Washington-where she did the coin toss...
And there was a claim that she had booked an appearance on ‘the view’, but that was it.
That has been the extent of our vice presidents known whereabouts over the last week.
Joe and Jill Biden were biking and ‘beaching’ this weekend, as this humanitarian crisis and border surge got worse.
And if a few photos wouldn’t have been completely misinterpreted and used by the left-wing media members in Texas as attempt to ‘prove’ racism and mistreatment of migrants- we still wouldn’t know where Kamala Harris is.
She surfaced yesterday, to decry a shocking narrative that had already been debunked.
Her reference to some Haitians coming from countries in central America was interesting given what the American people are now learning about this current crush of illegals: these Haitians aren’t coming directly from Haiti.
These are Haitians that left that island years ago and have been living and working in south American countries- specially Chile and Brazil. It wasn’t this recent hurricane’s destruction that had them finding boats or planes and looking to get off of the island and to a different country, it was previous natural disasters-and they were already in a so-called ‘safe’ third country. Which means they do not need asylum here.
This crush of Haitians came from south American countries where they were already settled-and it did- because word quickly got out that Biden’s team was suspending deportation flights back to Haiti and that Haitians were now part of a special group that could just walk right into America and be allowed to stay.
That! Is what started this crush.
And in a great twist of irony: it’s now all sorts of Haitians who had already gotten out of Haiti and to south America that Biden’s team is now flying back to Haiti-as of Sunday- because they have reversed these deportation rules again.
It’s leading to new fantastic new miseries for the Haitians who were already settled elsewhere, into a better life, but decided they needed to try for the ‘prize’ that is America.
One woman said she was in Chile. Her children were born there. She didn’t have to gamble and try to get into this country illegally.
She could have done it the right way-and stayed right there in Chile-and applied for legal entry that way.
But this is how ridiculous this is, now: these Haitians aren’t newly arrived from Haiti-and don’t want to be deported back to Haiti. They had already gotten out of there...and were living elsewhere.
And so- if they are gambling on illegal entry into this country and lose- too bad, so sad.
We need the rest of the world to believe that any attempt to get into this country illegally is fruitless, so they may as well not try.
Donald trump-for the first time in 50 years- had the rest of the world believing that- and Biden, Harris and the democrats reopened the borders and restarted the crisis.
And now they are being- totally dishonest-about every part of this. It’s worth noting that the Biden regime is lying to both the republicans-and the democrats- on capitol hill, now.
In fact, Alejandro Mayorkas- Biden’s scummy liar of a homeland security secretary- was in front of a senate panel being grilled by our own senator Ron Johnson....and continued to do this really dishonest thing that all of Biden’s cabinet members are doing in front of congress: he insisted that he didn’t have basic information that Ron Johnson wanted.
Yet again- he could only offer a promise to ‘follow up’ on that afterward. A promise that Biden’s team members are not keeping.
For weeks now- both republican and democrat congressmen who are demanding information from the Biden administration only get stonewalled. And only get excuses.
And so- here’s a frustrated Ron Johnson saying-give me some basic numbers that should be in your head. I know you know these-so just be honest about it:
That line of questioning goes on for some time, with the scummy Mayorkas never offering a sufficient answer.
And he cannot answer, of course, because his answer would reveal what a sham of a border operation the Biden admin is really running here.
I have been telling you-for eight months-that Biden’s team is intentionally running a scummy, dishonest game, in which they let virtually all the illegals in. Deport a few single men who were caught crossing-here and there- and then claim the border is closed. Claim that they are not letting these illegals stay.
And of course, they are.
On Sunday Biden’s regime said they were resuming the deportation flights back to Haiti and lied-by suggesting that all these 15-thousand migrants under the Del Rio bridge would be sent back.
It was a lie from the moment they said it. They knew that virtually everyone under that bridge was going to be allowed into the country-and only single men would be separated out and sent back.
Because that is the policy that they were working on- up to eleven days ago-when they tossed open the border to all Haitians and started this new influx.
The Biden admin-is not- deporting illegals in large numbers. It’s intentionally lying- to trick two sets of people: the American citizens who want this border closed-
And the foreigners that Biden’s team wants to come in in a steady stream-not in an overwhelming flood.
That! Is the Biden gamut here. And everyone from Biden, to Psaki, to Mayorkas on down-is lying. Lying to the American people and lying to congress, when they suggest they have a plan, or suggest that the border is closed, or they suggest they are really enforcing title 42 or using deportation flights.
They are lying. Virtually all the illegals that are flooding across that border are being allowed to stay.
And the natural side-effect of lying to absolutely everyone, is that eventually the truth comes out, and they all know it.
his is where the Biden regime finds itself this week. As Politco points out:
..Biden’s troubles don’t start with the US/Mexico border. They’re a symptom of a western hemisphere in crisis.
That’s total crap.
Biden’s troubles-do-start at the border, and he started them. And we know Biden started his own troubles here-because trump had the border crisis stopped.
Trump had stopped the caravans and had put smart policies in place that discouraged virtually all ‘treks’ to America, hoping to be allowed to stay.
The migrants weren’t coming.
The second part of that claim is wrong, too: the western hemisphere is not ‘in crisis.’ The same countries are dealing with the same sorts of political and natural disasters and challenges that they always have.
This isn’t the first time Haiti was hit by a bad tropical storm, and we haven’t’ seen any dramatic regime changes in South America.
This is not a western hemisphere that is uniquely ‘in crisis’.
And the attempt by the left to pretend it is, is an attempt to deny the truth: that Biden botched this up and it is a crisis of his own making.
