The Washington Times characterizes Pelosi, Schumer, and the democrats as ‘fuming’ over the fact that they can’t trick at least ten republican senators into voting for their bogus ‘riot commission’.
This-after they got 35 gullible dopes on the republican side to vote in favor of this January sixth commission the Dems want to use in yet another attempt to ruin and smear republicans for the next two or four years.
First it was the bogus Russia-collusion investigations that were all revealed to be lies afterward. But they kept up that smear, along with their MSM accomplices, for nearly three years...
And after it was debunked and Donald Trump and his campaign were cleared of any wrongdoing- not a single news outlet retracted a single smear or false story that they ran, related to it.
The second time Pelosi and her rancid democrats used the powers of government to try to legitimize a fake smear was with the bogus impeachment attempt over a Ukrainian phone call. That, too, was debunked as nothing more than a smear, but only after Pelosi and the Dems used it to illegitimately impeach trump.
And so here the Dems are-trying to get republicans to agree to form a third congressional investigatory commission to be used to smear trump and republicans- and somehow-35 republicans in the house were stupid enough to fall for it a third time!
Well happily it appears that at least ten senate republicans aren’t willing to do the same, and so Pelosi and Schumer won’t get their fake ‘riot commission’, and they are said to be ‘fuming’ over it.
Apparently, because they were certain they had a legitimate shot at getting at least ten gullible republican senators to go along with this, only to have Mitch McConnell and others intervene and talk the rest of the caucus members off the ledge...as in...
Come on. You can’t be stupid enough to let them do this to us a third time, folks. Wise up.
The word is that all sorts of them-did- wise up, including squishes like Mitt Romney and Susan Collins and Marco Rubio-
Marco Rubio was even willing to put out a quick video on twitter officially saying he’s a ‘no’ vote, because this is just more democrat game-playing.
These republicans-thank heaven-have gotten the message that the American people don’t care about this bogus commission, and so a vote against it isn’t going to harm a single republican’s career.
The democrats and their accomplices in the media doubled and tripled down on their attempts to pretend the republic was in jeopardy on January sixth, but no one is buying it.
Fourteen separate investigations are already underway: ten in congressional committees and four by our law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and DOJ. We know what happened on January sixth.
Their whining is pathetic...and they can keep it up for another week ...so far as i care...because-outside the dc beltway- no one cares.
Chuck Schumer was trying to win political points in the media by whining about the inner workings of the negotiations to form the committee:

Our own senator, Ron Johnson, was on with Tucker Carlson Friday night, and said this is just another attempt to smear Donald Trump and his supporters because they are terrified trump may run again in 2024:
Schumer and the democrats are insisting that they are going to force a vote on this ‘riot commission’, anyway, on the senate floor this week.
Okay. Whatever. A vote against this commission isn’t going to hurt a single republican senator back in their home state...but a vote in favor of forming it could harm them...because it signals they are dumb enough or gullible enough to fall for the Dem’s hyper partisan game playing.
So, bring on the vote. There’s no way the democrats get the ten votes they need if people like Romney, Collins, and Rubio say they don’t support it.
No one fell for this. At least not in the senate caucus.
Yes. Joe Biden’s approval rating is quickly down in the mid-40s...and the democrats are desperate to have 2022 be about Trump....instead of about Biden’s quickly failing agenda.
Biden’s approval numbers in the swing states and battleground districts are crumbling, as an economic recovery that was an ‘automatic’ ...just so long as Biden didn’t screw it up...is now being screwed up.
Inflation is rising. Gas prices are up over a dollar a gallon just since Biden took office. His idiotic covid-19 relief bill has people refusing to go back to work. He’s got a newly belligerent Hamas attacking Israel...and a newly belligerent Iran funding those attacks, as well as having its’ Iranian ships challenging America’s fleet in the Persian gulf, again.
Biden inherited a country that was poised for a tremendous recovery from covid-19. He inherited a quiet foreign policy front. Our largest global enemies had been dealt with. Our southern border was secured.
All Biden had to do was-nothing. Administer the vaccines by running the playbook Trump and Pence left you...
And don’t screw up anything else. And he screwed it up. And the American people know it.
We also know these aren’t just little ‘hiccups’ of the sort that can be easily fixed. The border crisis took years to solve, and a willingness by an administration to finally take it seriously and do the job.
Trump’s team did it. Border secured.
Biden undid it in a matter of hours and has no ability, and no intention, of fixing it. And the American voters now see it-and-know it.
They now pay more to fill up their car every week, after Joe Biden has blocked fossil fuel projects like the keystone pipeline and has his eco-zealot supporters calling for a ban on meat.
This has gotten as extreme and crazy as we conservatives warned it could be...if voters were dumb enough to put Biden and the democrats in charge of this country.
And this is all going to help republicans win back even more house seats in 2022. We might even be able to take back the senate, in a year in which it’s not expected to occur.
And i was right about this, too: we now have polls and surveys coming out that show the Republican Party is unified and energized and ready to win again in 2022 and 2024. It didn’t any big ‘post-mortems’ after the Trump loss. The party isn’t ‘dead’ because of it. Party members aren’t fractured and lost in the wind, because trump lost. All of those narratives are silly.
Don’t get all wrapped up in the silly claims that the republican party needed to recreate itself, or pivot away from it’s current, more populist, tone.
That was for the ninny handwringers and the bitter never-Trumpers to do. And it was a waste of time and energy.
It is now showing up in the survey data.
In fact, there’s even a poll out that shows Donald Trump beating Kamala Harris if the election were held today.
Can you imagine if Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton to win his first term, and then beat ‘Hillary 2.0’ to win a second term?
He already beats Kamala Harris.
It’s silly to look that far ahead, but republicans are in a good position for 2022..and Biden’s complete ‘cave’ to the socialist’s agenda has helped the party re-unify and re-focus quickly...as I predicted it would.
