Just a week into this Joe Biden presidency, it strikes me that there’s a weird pattern developing with his executive orders.
They are coming in a flurry unlike any we have ever seen. In just a week-Biden has already issued more executive orders to start a presidency than any other president. The left planned hard for this moment.
But this is the pattern that strikes me: either Joe Biden’s orders do- almost nothing- or they do devastating damage.
There doesn’t seem to be any ‘in between’. He’s not issuing-any- orders that seem moderate, or reasonable, or enact some new, common sense agenda. They are of two varieties:absolutely useless pandering that does nothing-or devastatingly consequential new rules enacted with the flick of a pen.
The inconsequential: this order reaffirms the sovereignty of tribal lands in America.
Okay-was anyone trying to take the Indian’s land away?
This order declares Asian Americans an important part of the fabric of America....because....I am pretending to fight a new racism toward Asians due to the covid-19 flu.
Folks-we have neither seen, nor heard, any suggestion that racism against Asians is on the rise in America due to the pandemic.
It’s made up.
Nine of the ten exec orders that he tacked onto Trump’s covid-19 plan and then called his own- are useless pandering that don’t -honestly- do a thing to change the trajectory of the virus or the vaccine distribution-at all.
Biden has given us a small flood of useless orders like that.
And- a small flood of absolutely devastating ones that Americans didn’t vote for...and are alarming panders to the kook fringe of his party...such as...
Killing off the keystone pipeline and costing 40 to 60-thousand great paying jobs.
Such as-ending construction on the border wall and putting hundreds more union workers out of work.
Such as-forcing men and boys into the women’s locker rooms and decimating girls and women’s sports...in the name of ‘equity’.
No one-aside from a sliver of insane activists asked for this stuff-and Biden and his team are ramming it home in front of the cameras as if this is what America wants. The voters have spoken.
No. They haven’t. Biden ran on none of these things...and his party had a -terrible election-aside from forcing trump out of office. They have no mandate. Especially not to do things that Biden never campaigned on.At least not in any overt and high profile way.
Today-we will get another devastating action billed as ‘for the good of the country and the globe’.
Biden will issue an executive order that ...quote...pauses...drilling on all public lands...and everyone who isn’t an idiot understands that that ‘pause’ is going to become permanent.
Folks-this is another 70-thousand jobs lost- as Biden celebrates his first official week in office.
He’s celebrating by killing off another 70-thousand great paying energy sector jobs...almost immediately...when he ran claiming his policies would create 18-million jobs.
The guy’s been in a week-and he has America’s unemployment lines growing! He’s going backwards!
Trump and the energy companies planned ahead. Donald trump and his interior department were smart enough to flood the zone with new leases during the time they were in office...and Biden isn’t canceling them. At least, so far.
The other good news- drilling on federal land only accounts for about nine percent of our onshore production-but still- industry experts say it’s a crippling move.
Biden’s team is issuing these devastating orders without-any-consolation-at all!
They are only listening to the eco-zealots who are such fringe activists that they want to kill off all fossil fuel production in America...on some Pollyannaish dream that the globe can live on wind and solar!
The problem is- no other country’s leaders are going to agree to it. We are making ourselves strategically weaker. Far, far weaker, with this ‘end fossil fuels’ nonsense.
It’s a crack-potish dream. And now it’s official government policy...because half the country was stupid enough to vote for this doddering old idiot and he’s stupid enough to let the kook fringe dictate his agenda.
And what the democrats never tell you-because they are morons who have never taken an economics course-
Is that if you raise the lowest wages up to fifteen dollars an hour-all of the workers who are more veteran and more senior employees-as well as mid-level managers, etc. -will all demand their salaries go up-beyond- fifteen dollars an hour.
The entire pay scale slides up for huge numbers of employees across scores of economic sectors. And it destroys jobs, closes businesses, and the costs are all passed onto you the consumer and American citizen. Life in America suddenly gets far, far more expensive for everyone.
And so- to recap- Joe Biden has been in office a week...and if you add up his moves so far...he has killed off at least 130-thousand jobs in the energy sector alone...and if he gets his way on the inimum wage-which Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer are threatening to force thru via the reconciliation process, which means the republicans couldn’t block it-
If that goes through, Biden and the Dems would have killed off another 3 to 4 million jobs.
How do their policies add 18-million jobs to the economy?
Because so far-all they are doing is going backward.
My god-it’s been a week-and 100-thousand jobs are already gone and nearly 4 million more are under threat.
This has been an awful six days for America’s economy. Mr. Blue collar Joe....is a one-man wrecking ball. He’s doing more harm to this country than the Chinese are, for heaven’s sake.
It’s the same old recycled promise that he and Obama made as they stole a trillion dollars from our grandchildren and passed the 2009 stimulus bill that didn’t end up stimulating-anything.
In fact, the billions of dollars that were included in it were doled out to Biden and Obama cronies who promised to turn that money into green energy jobs.
What we got were massive- massive- failures like Solindra and Fisker and hundreds of millions of dollars stolen from the American taxpayer.
And no green jobs.
Joe Biden has done -extensive- damage to the American economy and American families in just a few short days, folks. And he’s doing it by simply putting his signature on pieces of paper that his -very aggressive- socialist extremist handlers put in front of him.
Biden, the moron, is smiling and celebrating like he’s helping the country and the globe as he’s taking the paychecks away from tens of thousands of families.
I honestly don’t know how you live with yourself, or convince yourself that this is for the greater good.
Maybe the early onset dementia is powerful enough that he can sleep at night.
But for a guy who promised to be pro-union, pro-labor, pro-blue collar and promised to create 18-million dollars...he’s done a hell of a lot of damage in a very short period of time.
With more to come-if Schumer and Bernie can rig an illegitimate budget process to force thru a fifteen dollar minimum wage-and worse.
