After what is being called "the worst week in the history of the Democratic Party, even steadfast allies in the media are starting to get deeply concerned about November.
"Matters could hardly be worse right now for Democrats," said Chuck Todd as he opened "Meet the Press" on Sunday. "The Iowa vote count fiasco is a national embarrassment. The Democratic Party is divided against itself, left versus center left. The candidate once seen the best chance of beating president Trump is in a free-fall and low on money. President Trump was acquitted of impeachment charges, his poll numbers are climbing, and he’s feeling as confident as ever."
"You know, it’s a little scary," agreed ABC political commentator and former Obama Administration official Jen Psaki. "Democrats should be a little frightened after this week, I feel.”
