The War Memorial Center hosts VetFest, its annual celebration of service, on Thursday August 8 from 3-10pm. The public is invited to THANK A VETERAN with Leonardo DRS and News/Talk 1130 WISN at this commemorative event.
This FREE, family-friendly event will be held on the city’s most sought-after lakefront terrace and will feature the following, most of which are veteran-owned businesses:
The event will feature:
•Veteran Autograph Station from 4pm – 7pm
•Family Friendly activities: obstacle course, postcard writing station, coloring pages
•Appearances by Milwaukee Brewers Famous Racing Sausages ®
•Live Music with headliner 5 Card Studs (6:30pm)
•Veteran Vendor/Maker Fair
•Food and Beverage available for purchase
•50/50 raffle
•Free entrance and parking!
