When I was a kid, the Democratic Party was the party of the working man.
In 2019, I'm not sure what the party stands for.
Democrats in Madison this week said their top priorities are Medicaid expansion and blocking the born alive legislation.
Democratic lawmakers said nothing about jobs, nothing about taxes, nothing about lowering the cost of college.
Nope. Just more government handouts and allowing babies to die.
I'm not sure that's the message that resonates with people who work in the private sector in this state. I'm not sure those are the ideas that working families support. I'm not sure why Democrats have turned their focus solely to university professors, social justice warriors, and public union employees.
But most of all, I have no idea why working families in Wisconsin would vote Democrat.
