Bottles For Burlington

Due to recent storms, the residents of Burlington, Wisconsin and other affected areas in Racine & Kenosha counties are currently facing an unprecedented water crisis. Wells that residents rely on for drinking water are flooded and possibly contaminated.

YOU can help. Unopened/packaged cases of water bottles and gallon jugs can be donated in the Pettit National Ice Center parking lot (500 S. 84th Street in Milwaukee) on Friday, July 14 from 6am-6pm.

All six local iHeartMedia radio stations (including FM106.1, News/Talk 1130 WISN, 95.7 BIG FM, 97-3 NOW, V100.7, The Big 920) are supporting this effort to increase awareness of the water drive.

Help further spread awareness by posting this to your own social media accounts. We hope to see you at the Pettit. #BottlesForBurlington

HOW TO GET TO THE PETTIT:
If you are coming from Waukesha County on 94 EB you cannot exit at 84th St (this is also applies to traffic coming from I-41/US 45 SB to 94 EB), you will have to exit at 70th St, then take a left at 70th St, go under the FWY and left again on to O'Connor St, back to 84th St, left again to the Pettit. (Keep this as directions to get to State Fair in a few weeks as well.) If you are coming from 894 NB take the ramp to 94 EB, there is access from that ramp to the 84th St exit. 94 WB is able to exit at 84th St.

HUGE shout out to Pettit National Ice Center and Transport National, who is providing the truck to haul the water!
