It's tough to be an engineer in Oregon!

One of the most ridiculous articles I've seen in quite some time and it concerns what it takes to be able to call yourself an engineer in the state of Oregon.  The story begins with a man who graduated with a degree in electrical engineering in Sweden, but it gets more ridiculous as you read on and learn that in Oregon, unless you are a LICENSED engineer in that state, you can not call yourself an engineer. Not even in passing...or in campaign material...and you better not be referred to as an engineer in a newspaper article or you can be fined hundreds, if not thousands of dollars! Even engineering degrees from MIT or Cornell don't count in Oregon unless you have a state license! Have a Master's in engineering from MIT? Better not call yourself an engineer in Oregon unless you also have that state license!  Is this government over-reach? YOU BET IT IS!
