One of the unintentional themes of today’s show turned out to be ‘news stories that were way ‘uncovered’ or completely ignored by the accomplice media. As any genuine journalist or someone who is involved in the so-called ‘news media could tell you, there are various forms of bias. Some is unintentional, which is a little more ‘forgivable’. And some are clearly intentional.This is the worst sort of bias: you are calling yourselves ‘journalists. You claim to be running a ‘newsroom’. But if you are intentionally refusing to report on stories…or greatly downplaying them…because of a political bias or because you worry about ‘who the truth might harm’.... well.
You aren’t a journalist. You’re a propagandist or a quiet activist who is only pretending to be fair and balanced and honest. Now consider the ‘type’ of story that many of these left-wing journalists are ignoring: It’s one thing to ignore a smaller or less controversial story…but it’s something entirely different to call yourself a journalist and refuse to report on- or treat honestly- A story that is clearly newsworthy, alarming, or inherently interesting to the community or the country. If the dog catcher didn’t meet his monthly quota of ‘stray animals caught’... Who cares?
If the dog catcher is quietly euthanizing any pet or animal that comes into his orbit and then lying about it…and this explains why so many residents are missing pets. That’s newsworthy. Why are you not reporting it? Why would you hide that story? Oh, the dog catcher is your brother-in-law… oh, well, that explains your bias and you aren’t living up to your journalistic ethic.
That’s kind of a silly example. But…there are some stories that are ‘so big’ or so interesting or so obviously ‘newsworthy’ that any newsroom that ignores them can’t really be called a newsroom.
So, consider how the major networks, ABC, NBC, and CBS…chose not to report on the Somali welfare fraud scandal.That’s intentional journalistic malfeasance. Huge story. Very interesting. All sorts of sexy angles for any real journalist. But because it reflected badly on the democrats…you hid the story?
Then don’t call yourself a journalist.
Here’s a good real-life example this week: any news outlet that hasn’t reported on the revelation that the Biden white house basically-forced- Merrick Garland and the FBI to raid Donald Trump’s home …after more honest agents repeatedly said, ‘we have no probable cause’.... isn’t a real news outlet.
Because this is super-interesting, and should be important information for the American people, given the volumes and volumes of stories this news outlets did on the raids. What was found. How they smeared trump, incorrectly and unnecessarily for months and years afterward. Any news outlet that is ignoring this story this week isn’t a real ‘news outlet. They aren’t employing journalists and reporters. They are employing propagandists.
And yet, this story has gotten very little coverage this week. Only on conservative websites and outlets. The big, legacy newsrooms who comprise the ‘mainstream media’ are not reporting this story: Senator chuck Grassley is the chairman of an important senate investigative committee…and his office released this week…emails that prove FBI agents knew they did not have probable cause to raid Mar-a-Lago. They told their superiors this several times. And yet, Merrick garland ordered the raid anyway, at the insistence of the Biden white house. This proves Merrick Garland was a slippery, partisan attorney general and wasn’t acting as an unbiased firewall between ‘justice’ and the ‘executive branch’...as an AG is supposed to do.
To make it clear: these are career FBI agents who are used to going by the book. Being careful. Having all of their legal ducks in a row and behinds covered, etc., before they go ahead with an operation- much less a raid on someone’s home or business-
This is career agents being told: we don’t have probable cause to raid Mar-a-Lago and are hearing back from Merrick Garland’s staff: yes you do. We think you do. Don’t worry about it. And remember to search everywhere: trump’s personal residence, the garden sheds, any offices or storage space, baron’s sock drawer…etc.
This was all an ‘extra-constitutional’, illegal effort by the Trump white house and garland DOJ to ‘get Trump’. And it nearly worked. But it certainly put yet another dark cloud over Donald trump and created the narrative that he was a corrupt criminal and that’s what the left and the Biden White House was relentlessly striving for.
It’s completely unethical and indefensible, which is what trump and his attorneys were arguing afterward and were ignored. The MSM just followed the leftist narrative spun out of Merrick Garland’s scummy DOJ and Joe Biden’s scummy white house.
This -really is- a genuine violation of Donald Trump’s rights and freedoms. We now have hard evidence of it. And none of the so-called ‘fair and balanced’ news outlets are going to report it?
Instead, they are going to spend all their time this week spinning stories off of a hit-piece on Suzy Wiles and Donald Trump in the Atlantic? Come on. This is not journalism.
These emails even prove that career FBI agents and their superiors were increasingly worried about the optics of this raid, too, given that they were being asked to raid the home of a former president.
We talked about how, in any past situation in which the national archives thought an outgoing president had taken confidential files or records he shouldn’t have- how the national archives just worked it out-directly- with that president and his attorneys:
Mr. Clinton, we believe you took documents you shouldn’t have, and the White House maid says she saw Hillary steal a vase. Can we come in and look?
The agents from the archives who searched Bill Clinton’s house-literally-found some classified materials in his sock drawer. But Clinton’s complied to the search willingly. The Biden’s complied with the search for their Delaware home willingly, because the FBI asked first. And dozens of classified documents were found .scattered around the place…that Joe Biden never had a right to take as either a senator or a vice president. But he was a confused old man who couldn’t be charged. Remember?
We also need to remember that Donald Trump had already agreed to at least one- and i believe-two- searches of Mar-a-Lago. They wanted to see what documents he took. After the first visit he was told: secure these documents more securely. Okay, trump said, and he did.
These agents clearly saw no need to raid Mar-a-Lago. Trump and his team had complied each time they had been asked…up to that point. What’s the justification for the raid? These agents kept asking superiors., and what do you think he’s hiding?
The long-and-short of this is: career agents were saying to Garland and Biden’s team: you keep suggesting that ‘we know something’s there. Trump’s got to have taken something. He’s hiding something. We know it’s there. Check the golf shed.
What!? Do you think he has?!! Because we can’t go on ‘we think he has something’. That’s not legal or constitutional.
But they were ordered to, anyway: conduct the early morning raid.
This isn’t a major news story.Garland and the Bidens and their staffers shouldn’t be vilified and raked over the coals for this- across the news media of an allegedly ‘free and open’ society in which ‘we, the people’ are supposed to hold power over government? Not a single one of these outlets calling themselves news…or claiming they have a ‘newsroom’...are journalists, then. They are left-wing propagandists.
In fact- if they were ‘real journalists’ and were finding out that they had been duped into being patsies for Biden and Garland’s scheme. Hoo! Hoo! Should they be miffed. Right?
If I’m working hard to be a credible journalist or editor running a credible newsroom and i found out that you lied to me and used me to forward your false narrative and cover up indefensible abuses of someone’s constitutional rights- whoa! Would I be PO’d at you.
The fact that these so-called news outlets aren’t. And are in fact ignoring the story? It tells you all you need to know about how ‘credible’ they are. They just reported ‘whatever the Biden white house, the garland DOJ, and the democrat operatives told them to report. That is-not- journalism. And there is not a shred of integrity involved in that process.
