If there’s still any question, both Iran and Israel have now confirmed that Iran’s most important nuclear sites have been obliterated, and Iran has no more nuclear program, for all practical purposes.
We on the right- and those of us who are actually interested in the truth-instead of game playing and political posturing- need to keep repeating this- as the activist left and the ‘drudge report’ crowd continue to insist that trump’s air strikes didn’t accomplish the goals that were intended.
They absolutely did. This is according to pentagon assessments, international atomic energy commission assessments, and now Israel-and even Iranian-assessments.
We totally destroyed Iran’s nuclear program
What they mean is: this can be a permanent situation if Iran’s evil idiots choose not to rebuild. Just consider your nuclear ambitions ‘dead’ and move on. Focus your efforts in some more constructive way.
Yeah-
Iran’s leaders won’t do that. You don’t just change your stripes after 45 years of religious zealotry, rage, and hatred.
In fact- in a ‘first act’ after Saturday’s bombing, the Iranian parliament voted yesterday to officially stop cooperating with the international energy commission.
Well....that doesn’t sound like a group of people who learned their lesson...or are intending to moderate and move on...does it?
By the way-in the midst of all this tension-I was happy to see CNN and MSNBC-both- try to resurrect this idiocy that when Iranians say ‘death to America’ they don’t’ really mean ‘death to America’.
Some of you younger or more recent listeners might think I’m kidding when i say former sect of state john Kerry used to say this...as he made every excuse he could for the Iranian, pro-terror, pro-Palestine side of this equation.
He claimed that- oh, they just use it like a greeting. It’s like you or me saying ‘good morning’ or ‘how you doing’?
Those Iranians just walk around and say ‘death to America, Mahmood’.... yes, yes, death to America, Kassem’.
But they don’t really mean it. They don’t even really know what they’re saying.
Yeah. Okay.
But imagine my glee- as I saw dopes on both the CNN set....and the MSNBC set...trying to ‘explain this away’ again...to defend this hateful regime.
And now their parliament has officially blocked international monitors from coming in and verifying that their stockpiles are gone and they aren’t rebuilding, moving forward.
After the vote-they chant ‘death to America’ and ‘death to Israel’...but.... hey...no. You misunderstand. This would be like us singing ‘take me out to the ballpark’...at a baseball game. They weren’t -really- saying death to America.
Come on.
What sort of genuine dillweed would you need to be to try to sell that nonsense here? In America?
But this is three different ‘outside’ groups of experts saying-Iran’s nuclear program are destroyed. One of them is- the ‘America-loving’ Iranians, themselves.
And- one reason that I didn’t waste even a little bit of airtime with the silly CNN and NY Times report yesterday that no major damage was done....was because it was so obviously silly.
I simply have less and less tolerance for the truly moronic takes that we are getting from the leftist news media-and social media feeds- in this era.
I mean-consider what we know: we know Israel killed all of Iran’s top nuclear scientists- who worked at those sites. The ‘geniuses’ manning their missile and atom bomb programs are dead and gone. Their three most important enrichment and storage sites are obliterated. Not easily ‘dug up and rebuild’.
Consider that- thanks to Israel’s war of retaliation against Hamas- Hamas is all-but obliterated. Hezbollah is defanged. The Houthis are degraded and isolated.
For anyone to say that the same threats exist-today- that existed against the west a week ago, a month ago, or two years ago- is exposing themselves as a dope.
And anyone not giving president trump credit for the strikes- making the call-and then demanding a quick ceasefire so it doesn’t escalate- is also a dope.
After decades of effort, and build up, and tens of billions of dollars wasted- Iran’s nuclear community was obliterated in a matter of hours-and days-by the US and Israeli military-
And- here’s the thing-
It was obliterated and Iran’s regime was absolutely neutered- without either of those militaries having to break a sweat.
For all the damage Israel did early- killing scientists. Killing military leaders. Destroying ground sites and the Iranian air force and missile sites... In truth? Israel’s military didn’t even seem to break a sweat.
Now consider that they were largely using ‘last generation’ u-s weaponry and planes.Oooff. What enemy nation would be dumb enough to take on either of these militaries?
Folks-word is-that the Chi-coms are ‘re-evaluating’ their plans to invade Taiwan based on what they’ve seen of our bunker busters- last Saturday...and what they have seen of the Israeli military over the last two weeks.
It's not the US military, but it’s using u-s fighters, air defense systems, satellite, technology, tactics, etc.
The chi-comes would be foolish -not to- study everything they could-and all the intelligence they have managed to gather- over the last two weeks.
So, to say, in some snotty way, well...we don’t really know how successful Trump really was here.... It is to be a genuine dope.
It really is.
Yes, valid concerns remain about where any loose nuclear material might be-or where any enriched uranium that the Iranians moved out of Fordow might be stored.... but, we’ll track that down via satellite....and with Israeli operatives inside Iran.They know where it is.
And any agreement that the US and Israel make with the mullahs in the future will include the demand that all those materials be turned over to the international community for disposal.
No doubt.That’s what comes next.
I-did- find it amusing to hear president trump dismiss the notion that a formal peace agreement is even needed...here: some reporter asked him if he was going to pursue a document that guarantees Iranian compliance...etc.
Trump said. He felt no need for that, really: our position will remain: no nukes for Iran.
But would you bomb again if they resume? Trump was asked.
Yes.
This doesn’t need to be difficult, or wrapped in the flowery language of diplomacy, at this point. No.
Still- Israel and u-s and western diplomats will, no doubt, demand that piece of paper and some sort of ‘unconditional surrender’ language that has Iran turning over their enriched material...and vowing not to rebuild. Yeah.
That’s what comes next.
Meanwhile- the democrat response to this continues to be embarrassing and pathetic.
Why not just let Trump have the political win. Show the country you are adults. And find some other issue, or whine, or outrage to blast him with? You’re inventing another one every fifteen minutes, anyway.
Right?
As i closed the show yesterday- i said: the democrat reaction to Trump’s handling of Iran is yet another thing that just...so...so...’misses the moment’....and causes them to look like fools, themselves.
It's like...by God...defending every illegal thug and murderer Biden let into America...etc.
Their rage against President Trump’s impressive handling of this Iran situation....is just silly and alienating.
It makes them look hypocritical, and foolish, and even more dangerous and untrustworthy-if they do-get back into power soon.
