Jay Weber Show transcript 7/11/24
I started off the show by saying: just when it looked like the Biden regime had successfully cowed and bullied the other democrat leaders back into line-or at least into silence-
This George Clooney op-ed and Nancy Pelosi’s decision to go on the morning show that she knows President Biden watches religious-and suggest he should change his mind- were huge developments.
They indicate that ‘team Biden’ still doesn’t have a lid on this coup attempt...and-if anything...higher profile and even more influential people than those who have been doing the jawing for the last two weeks-have decided to emerge and use their influence to force joe out.
It's one thing to have back-bencher Mike Quigley in Illinois calling on Biden to drop out. It’s something entirely different for Nancy Pelosi to-not so subtly- suggest it.
It’s one thing to have perpetual blowhard Rob Reiner overreact to the debate. It’s something entirely different if Barrack Obama’s ‘close buddy’ George Clooney comes out of nowhere and says it. If the leftist elite is a click club-and it is- then George Clooney is the leader of the cliché. He decides who’s cool and who’s not. The cool kid who has a strong influence over the peer group-just spoke. And forcefully.
Another thing that wouldn’t be happening if the Biden team really had a lid on this- is fellow insider liberals wouldn’t be eager to spread dirt on Jill Biden publicly.
We even got a story this week about how Jill Bidens ordered the marine corps band to compose ‘entry music’ for the first lady so they could play it as she walked on stage.
Honestly. It’s called ‘fanfare for the first lady’.
This is a report that the Biden team is denying, of course, but there was an earlier report about this in 2022-at the Washington Examiner-and a Biden insider is validating the story.
Not only does the song exist-now- but it was never played for Melania Trump or Michelle Obama’s entrances...and just seemed to pop up as Jill’s ‘walk on’ music. And. And. It’s only played at Jill Biden events.
Huh. It sure seems to be ‘her’ music.
Even the title it was given fanfare for the first lady. Good lord.
How hokey.
Why not: a joyous ode to Jill?
It sounds like she didn’t get to name it.
But...
It’s interesting how this ‘wall’ has come down since the debate.
The next morning- i joked that the best take-away I had heard on the debate was: Jill Biden’s a monster.
Well, she wasn’t on stage. Joe and Donald Trump were. She wasn’t a moderator. She had nothing to do with the debate-and yet-everyone immediately got the reference: Jill Biden is a monster for refusing to do what’s best for her husband and let him retire in peace and with some dignity intact.
That’s why Jill’s a monster was a great take following the debate. And man, she was slammed afterward, but criticism of her, too, had died down over the last 9 or 10 days. Suddenly-it’s back- with insider stories about how Jill has ‘really’ been ‘protecting’ and ‘using’ Joe
Everyone in dc-and across the country-can see that now.
I’d ask you to notice how forceful and nasty Jill Biden..
Not Joe...Jill Biden...has suddenly become with interviewers and reporters.
Dr. Jill has suddenly adopted Joe Biden’s long-time technique of trying to bully and snarl at any person who asks a question or makes a suggestion she doesn’t like.
Jill Biden-following the debate- dragged joe up onto an ‘afterparty’ stage and -first- talked to him like he was a first grader.
Joe, you did so great, you answered every question...
And then she pivoted and snarled and yelled at the cameras as if she was trying to bully any critics into silence. Just minutes after the debate!
And if you’ve been watching Jill Biden since, she gets nasty and snarly very quickly, and is using this long-time technique of her husband to try to bully reporters into shutting up.
Folks-the Bidens don’t like it when liberal minions who are pretending to be reporters challenge them on things. The media has to ‘stay in its lane’ and only ever cover for Joe...while giving Jill magazine covers.
And apparently, this too, has been an ‘open secret’ in DC: that Jill Biden is even more of an aggressive ladder-climber than he is.
In fact, one rumor floating around-which I label as a rumor- claims it was Jill Biden who forced Joe to run in 2020, when he was reluctant and was okay with being ‘done’ with politics.
That rumor ‘rings truer’ now, doesn’t it?
So, the clear-eyed view of Jill Biden after the dementia debate is: this is a power-hungry and money-hungry witch who so desperately wants to remain in the white house that she’d subject her husband to just about any sort of humiliation to make that happen.
The truth is being told now-even on the left: we all knew joe Biden was mentally compromised when he ran in 2020 and campaigned from his basement-
Certainly, Jill knew. But she ‘ran him’ anyway.
And so- if any democrats in NY or DC-really didn’t know- Joe Biden was ‘this bad’, they only have themselves to blame.
If any democrat party leaders at the DNC- ‘really didn’t know’ that joe Biden was this bad- they only have themselves to blame-because we all saw it.
Also-
By the way-
Also-if any of these dem leaders really thought that Joe Biden was only going to serve one term and then the Bidens were going to give up power willingly and gracefully-
Boy- were they deluded-and they only have themselves to blame. The ‘truth’ about this nasty, criminal, power couple has been known in dc-for decades.
Remember-everyone in dc knew that Joe Biden was selling influence and personally profiting off it. It was another open secret in dc. The only thing that surprised them when the hunter Biden laptop stories broke it open- is how many millions the Bidens had managed to extort for themselves.
The extortion and ‘access selling’ didn’t surprise anyone. The 10, 20, and 50-million-dollar totals did. This has always been a scummy, criminal couple. They’ve been enriching themselves and knowing they are ‘untouchable’ for 50 years. Dems thought they would gracefully give up power, now?
As one pundit puts it: Jill Biden is the de-facto president of the United States now, and most likely has been for the last three years. It’s a gig she wasn’t elected to- but it’s also a gig that she’s not giving up without a fight.
And you-know-that analysis is accurate.
There-absolutely-must be an effort going to put together a massive golden parachute package for the Bidens if they agree to leave office.
And it might be the one thing that could convince jill to reconsider-and give up her White House stay, after all.
