Disney's hypocrisy is catching up with them

Do Disney execs and employees-really-not see the rank hypocrisy in being woke leftist bullies in America...but then rolling over to the Chi-coms and the backward Islamist in other nations?

They will shriek and scold and pitch fit over leftist ideologies here in America, and use their corporate sway to virtue signal for left wing special interests here...

But...if it means they can’t sell their movies or theme parks outside the continental US, then screw it?

Foreign profit is more important than these ‘all important’ wokeims?

Disney-over and over again-has changed, edited, censored its own movies to make them acceptable for release in China, or the middle east, and other foreign markets. And they just roll over on it.

And every other major movie company does it, too, because there is so much money to be made overseas, particularly in China.

Just a few years ago- Disney filmed the live-action ‘Mulan’ in China. In the region of the country where the wee-gur slave camps are, and China’s slavery operation is active-

And Disney -not only--never blinked an eye at filming there-but afterward, in the film, went out of their way to thank the pro-slave regime and its slave-abusing locals.

It was quite a low point for Disney.

This week-it’s Warner Brothers. Their execs are admitting to cutting out two references to the Dumbledore character being gay in the latest Harry Potter spin-off movie.

their claim is ‘we just want different audiences to enjoy the movie’ then why don’t they cater to every complaint?

Why don’t they edit out the black characters so that the white supremacist community can enjoy them?

And that’s a ludicrous example, of course, but this one isn’t: why don’t they re-edit these same movies-here in America-for the moral majority? And for the Christians who would find their movies more entertaining without the homosexuality in them?

By this standard- warner and Disney and the rest should be sending out movies edited 15 different ways- for each global market: we still have middle eastern countries where women and girls are treated like cattle.

Where are the movies from Disney that show some Afghan girls getting smacked around by their husbands? Where’s the ‘honor killing’ scene that’s going to make that movie more enjoyable for the Afghan market?

What a ridiculous excuse.

We’ll force left wing, sometimes culture-destroying, indoctrination on Americans, but we want the rest of the globe to enjoy our movies, so we’ll re-edit them to not offend their customs, or their sensibilities.

I think its all backfiring. Check out Disney and Warner Bros stock right now
