Justin Trudeau's huge miscalculation

So... the Canadian police -did-finally manage to clear the streets around the parliament building in Ottawa-and retake control of the streets in the surrounding area-

But it came at a price: Justin Trudeau’s government used mounted police and a thug squad to arrest hundreds of people-and at one point.... pushed the mounted police forces thru the crowd and used the horses to shove and push and trample protestors.

One woman who was trampled was disabled and was there only with the use of a walker. She got trampled under the horse’s hooves in a dramatic video, and for hours, the Canadian media were reporting she was dead.

She survived...but after things had grown calmer, the Ottawa police chief had to hold a news conference defending his use of this tactic and insisting the disabled woman-was not dead- and he came off sounding as if- since no one died- the use of force and mass arrests was okay.

Meanwhile-the key border crossings between the US and Canada are still being slowed by trucker protests, and this ‘retaking’ of some important ground in Ottawa- around the seat of government- doesn’t appear to have brought the larger freedom protests to an end.

In fact, the use of dictatorial emergency orders and the use of government force may have been the straw that broke the camels’ back for Justin’s government.

The Canadian people have turned on it in large numbers, and more and more of Trudeau’s own party members are expressing anger at his tactics.

And this was not the BLM and Antifa riots- most of which could have used a show of force by law enforcement. These were happy Canadians holding street festivals.

In fact, Greg, give me the audio of the big Ottawa street protest on Saturday. Here’s what the protestors were engaging in:

The Canadians -wanting to be seen-en masse- by their prime minister and government leaders so they can be given their individual freedoms back-

Were all singing journey tunes and drinking and dancing.

That’s a ‘Canadian protest’ of the sort that Justin Trudeau felt that he needed to run horses thru to disrupt.

Look- America’s left-wing protests were really ‘riots’ and should have been treated as such. It was the so-called protestors who were committing the violence, committing the arson, committing the looting, etc.

In Canada-

These Canadians were all engaging in the sort of truly peaceful protests of MLK’s day. This was masses and masses of crowds, holding a big, community street party.

The protests were like winter festivals. And there was no hint of violence.  And so, on Saturday, the only people committing the violence were the police officers.

Watch the videos.

The Canadian protestors weren’t even really fighting back.  Passive resistance was met with police kneeing and knocking people to the ground.  Or being bowled over by police on horseback.  It was ugly.

The members of this freedom convoy never threatened violence. Never posed any sort of physical threat to Canadian officials. Never threatened to overthrow the existing government.

All they wanted was bully vaccination mandates and other covid restrictions dropped so that the Canadian people could have some of their freedoms back.

And for that-Trudeau pulled police officers and military members from across the country, and unleashed hundreds of police in riot gear and on horseback- some of them with automatic weapons- into the crowd.

This was a huge miscalculation, and as the Washington Examiner editors say, it is time for Trudeau to concede. The truckers have won.

I agree with that, completely.

And while Trudeau, in Canada, has gotten more heat for digging in on dumb and-now useless-vaccine mandates, American leaders have done the same thing, and have also made themselves look like little Eickmanns.

Joe Biden and his government still haven’t relented on federal mandates for health care workers and federal employees. NY’s Mayor, Eric Adams, fired over 14-hundred city workers last week, following thru on the threat of termination, even though the pandemic and its mandates are, essentially, over.

Why do that?

Why follow thru with the terminations? Just to be an a-hole? Just to prove. You are the one in power? Why?

These crackdowns in Ottawa-and the last three weeks of Trudeau’s rhetoric- appear to be solely fueled by Trudeau feeling the need to -by god, show everyone who’s in charge.

Ordering police to ride horses thru tight crowds isn’t only incredibly stupid. It’s incredibly dangerous and arrogant.

So, who is Trudeau trying to impress?

The answer is: his fellow globalist leftists. Correct?

Trudeau certainly isn’t acting like a dictator to impress the Canadian people, is he?

So, who is he trying to impress?

It’s his fellow leftists-globally-who are all working toward this global world order and want to be accepted into this elite club.

This movement dates to Bill Clinton, at least. He was the first president i can remember who wasn’t satisfied to be -just-the u-s president.

Clinton wanted to join the European and western elites to form a global government, under which all other countries could operate. Including the United States.

And so, it was Bill and Hillary Clinton who were the first ‘regime’ to express this leftist global sensibility: a sense that we should have a left-wing global order.

And Obama and his team doubled down on it, of course. Barrack Obama was a leader who-clearly-felt being the president of the United States was too small and restricting for him. He routinely pushed the idea of a larger effort to organize the globe under elitist, leftist control.

And now we’ve got the Biden and Trudeau regimes doing the same thing.

Justin Trudeau isn’t forcing his own people to their knees for the good of Canada. Or to impress Canadians.

He’s trying to impress his global overlords. The people who organize and orchestrate this global shadow government that the left already has-trying to influence events in all western countries.

But Trudeau’s government might have terribly miscalculated this weekend, by using force against peaceful protestors.

Honestly, people: the scenes from these protests look more like street festivals, or tailgating. It’s Canadians having a good time. Laughing and grilling and drinking and dancing...in huge crowds.

This would be like ordering horses to charge thru the Summerfest or state fair grounds. Not only are they-not-hostile crowds. They are cheerful, welcoming crowds, whose members-up until Saturday- were giving hugs and handshakes to the police officers that they saw, and simply wanted to make a point about how there is ‘line’ for all western governments that the leaders had better not cross.

Trudeau crossed it with his mandates, which was their point-

And now he has ‘erased it’ with his use of FORCE.
