It is disturbing to see the Biden administration going back to OPEC for help, as the democrats running this country scramble to keep gas prices down.
They are the ones engaging in a war on fossil fuels. They are the ones attempting to shut down fracking operations in this country.
And they are the ones responsible for the
Five-and-a-half percent -sustained inflation that we are now seeing.
Now? On top of it all-and worried about the American people correctly blaming them for the rise in gas prices-
Now? Biden’s White House is begging OPEC to do better?
This is pathetic.
Where is the effort to speak to US producers and urge them to increase production?
Biden and Sullivan-go to OPEC?
Why no commensurate effort to get domestic producers to increase their supplies?
And it should be noted that even after the ‘ask’ to the foreign oil industry to help out with production-
Even after that- Biden’s team went out of it way to insult producers and refiners and say he doesn’t trust them to run an honest industry.
So, Biden and his actions drive up prices to 3.20 a gallon....and he turns around and blames the oil industry for not being honest...as if that’s the cause of the price hikes.
What a turd we have, as a president.
And it’s really the people around Biden, of course. Although ole’ Joe has long hated oil and gone along with the eco-nuttery.
This is really Joe's handlers, at this point, as he struggles to put in a three-day week and keep himself out of the white house hedges.
This ‘request’ that foreign oil producers ‘do better’ comes as we get yet another consumer report that confirms inflation is over 5 percent higher than it was last year.
Maybe even more alarming, prices climbed half a percentage point between June and July. That might not sound like much-but that’s a -big shift in prices- month to month.
This was such concerning financial news that even CNN couldn’t ignore it. Here’s a snippet from their coverage.
So-prices are up-on everything-across the board.
And that means that any raises or ‘wage hikes’ that Americans saw over the last year are now simply being gobbled up by a higher cost of living.
New govt data also proves that inflation is devouring wage gains.
They were predicting...oh two percent inflation. Very temporary...it’s not even an issue.
Wrong.
Their completely unnecessary final covid-19 relief move to dump two-trillion dollars more in government money into the economy has turned that into 5.5 percent inflation that’s likely to stick around a while.
And the worst news? Biden’s inflation has meant price hikes on just about every good and service you use...and has erased the wage gains you might have seen over the last year or so.
And gee if you’re paychecks didn’t go up? Well then, you have simply fallen further behind in the Biden era...when he promised you bigger paychecks and prosperity.
Anyone who voted for Biden, thinking that he could manage a better economy and a better economic recovery from covid-than Trump could- is an idiot.
And all sorts of them are now paying the price of that idiocy.
Those of us on the right can only say ‘we told you so’ ...which isn’t even satisfying anymore, because we are right on virtually everything...and after 50 years of being right-you’d think the morons who vote democrat would at least acknowledge it and change their voting patterns.
Well-the truth is that many of them have, which is why the democrats are desperate to flood the country with illegal foreigners and they give them amnesty and voting rights.
They need voters who are ‘new to the scam’ and more easily duped. So, they hope to import them by the millions.
