You’d think that the emotional testimony of the cops who fought off the capitol rioters would have generated more interest, or more support, for Nancy Pelosi’s sham of an investigation-
Instead, it did the opposite:

Most people clearly didn’t watch the hearing, but I thought the democrats, once again, hurt themselves by selecting officers to testify who were so clearly Trump haters.
So far as I heard-every one of the officers that were allowed to testify went out of their way to badmouth Trump and/or blame him for the riot.
It was almost as if they’d been coached ahead of time.
Maybe those who watched picked up on the orchestrated nature of it, but what is more likely to have happened is that-
Since this sham committee is more ‘real’ now, and has been in the news more often in the run-up to that first hearing-
I’m guessing what happened is that more people heard more about it. Heard about the partisan nature of it. Heard about how there are weasels like Adam Schiff and Adam Kinzinger on the panel who have no personal credibility or integrity.
What I’m saying is-a month ago- people were asked, ‘do you support the investigation’...and 6 in 10 said yes.
Last week-they learned more...and said..oh, that? Investigation? The way Pelosi rigged it?No. We don’t need that one...
