Joe Biden Spent the Past Year Telling Illegal Immigrants to Come to the US

The crisis at America's southern border is 100 percent of Joe Biden's own making. For more than a year, he has been telling migrants to come to the US by promising them government benefits, promising to freeze deportations, and even hinting at mass amnesty. In fact, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki admitted as much on Thursday.

"Because the President and our administration has made a decision that the way to humanely approach immigration is to allow for — you know, for unaccompanied minors to come and be treated with humanity and — and be in a safe place while we’re considering — while we’re trying to get them into new home- — into homes and sponsored homes, that — that some more may have come to our border," she said during her daily White House press briefing. "And there have been, of course, a large flow of children across the border. We recognize that, but that is — that — we made a policy decision because we felt it was the humane approach."

This is the end result of both President and Candidate Biden doing all they could to entice illegal immigration, especially by unaccompanied children. As Texas Senator Ted Cruz pointed out, Biden spent almost his entire time on the campaign trail promising that illegal immigrants who made it into the U.S. wouldn't be deported or even turned over to immigration officials, would receive the same government benefits that American citizens do, and might even be part of a mass amnesty program.
