Voters need to listen to that advice as we watch Democrats run for president in 2020.
The candidates are all telling us who they are, and what they want to do. Kamala Harris is promising 'action' on gun control. Elizabeth Warren says she has a plan for everything. And Bernie Sanders is promising to take insurance away from 130 million people.
We should believe them when they say such things.
Many Democratic voters want another elected king (or queen) in the White House. They want the same kind of phone and pen government that they had under President Obama.
The one thing none of the 2020 Democratic candidates are promising? A government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
