Bullies on the left are turning boycotts into group think nonsense.

Boycotts are supposed to be a personal decision.

If you cannot stand Nike's allegiance to Colin Kaepernick, it's fine for your to decide that you won't give Nike any more of your money.

Same goes for Chick-Fil-A.

But there is a disturbing trend in 2019 where progressives, liberals, and/or Democrats are calling for boycotts as a way to force their opponents to be silent.

The message is clear: Don't say anything we don't like, or we will end you.

Bill Maher called this out this week. Squad member Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib called for a boycott of Maher's show because he correctly called the BDS movement anti-semitic.

He's right on both points.

We used to be able to debate ideas in this country. Not anymore. Now, one half of the political spectrum says you either must agree with them or they will boycott you until you no longer have a voice.
