Voters in Wisconsin don't like the idea of higher taxes and potentially fewer jobs.
The Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, the state's largest business group, is out with a new poll that shows voters oppose pretty much all of the tax increase suggestions in Gov. Tony Evers' budget.
“While voters still seem to have a generally positive view of Gov. Evers, it is clear they are not fully on-board with his plans to increase taxes,” WMC President & CEO Kurt Bauer said in a statement.
The WMC poll asked voters about everything from dark stores, to the gas tax, to a plan to tax manufacturers.
