Keep a COP KILLER behind bars!

Inmate 56262, Ben Sanders wants to be let out of prison for ambushing, then executing two Milwaukee police officers.

According to the Officer Down Memorial page:

Officers Gerald Hempe (31) and Charles Smith (24) were shot and killed during a traffic stop at 10:06 pm.

While attempting to arrest the driver of the vehicle, a struggle ensued. During the struggle, a bystander who witnessed the stop walked up to the officers and opened fire, striking them both in the neck and head. The bystander had nothing to do with the stop.

The suspect, 27, was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences on June 12, 1973. He was denied parole in 2010. He has another parole hearing on May 11, 2023."

Under Governor Evers, parole hearings are NOT open to the public. They should be. After the explosive expose by Milwaukee-area investigative journalists Jessica McBride and Jim Piwowarczyk on the scandal of the Evers admin's paroling hundreds of violent killers, sex offenders and child rapists, the legislature needs to ACT. We need truth in sentencing for violent offense and we need PUBLIC OVERSIGHT via live-stream video of parole hearings.

What can you do in the meantime? Right now please CALL the Office of Victim Services at 800-947-5777 and tell them that you want Inmate #56262 Ben Sanders DENIED parole.  Make sure to say you want it LOGGED that you called and asked for Ben Sanders to be denied. Make sure to get the name of the person you spoke to. We need this on the record.
