The U.S. military has nothing to fear from Iran's army

The United States spends more on defense than the next seven largest armies in the world, combined.

After those seven, the U.S. spends more on defense that the rest of the world.

It is good to remind ourselves just how large and powerful the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps really are. The left is busy telling us that Iran is certain to respond to the weekend's airstrikes that killed general Qasem Soleimani. Joe Scarborough on MSNBC said President Trump has kicked a 'hornet's nest.'

But the reality is that Iran would be silly to declare war on the U.S. They would see their armed forces destroyed, quickly.

Iran will of course respond to the attack. They don't chant 'Death to America' for no reason. But that response will then bring another response from America, and so on, and so forth.

The problem is not that the left and their accomplices in the media are warning about another Middle Eastern war. They are denouncing President Trump for taking steps to end the wars that are already raging.

In this era of 'Orange Man Bad' journalism a show of U.S. military strength is painted as a show of weakness. And the killing of the top exporter of terror is seen as a bad thing.
