The last Democratic president to capture working white voters understood that people in the United States expect people to work.
Democrats used to agree.
Now, well...
The left is up in arms because President Trump is asking U.S. immigration officials to make sure people who are coming to this country will not end up on welfare. The president simply wants to make sure that legal immigrants have a job lined up.
It's amazing to see how the idea of welfare and work has changed.
It's amazing to see Democrats essentially say, why work when there's welfare.
