Tony Evers is right. But that's the problem.

You gotta give credit when it's due.

Governor Tony Evers told Democrats at Wisconsin's state convention that they need focus on the issues to win the 2020 election.

Evers said Democrats can't just rely on hating President Trump.

He said Democrats must talk about the issues.

But which issues? Abortion? Immigration? Jobs?

For Democrats to win in 2020 the party needs to bring-in middle class, working Americans who voted against Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Do they want abortion on demand? Or open borders? Or a $15 an-hour minimum wage for burger flippers?

Democrats already have the votes of social justice warriors, advocates, university professors, public workers, and the radicals that are now in charge of the party.

Those voters support the Democratic issues. Swing voters, the polls show, don't.

Governor Evers is right, hating on President Trump will not win the 2020 election for Democrats. But talking about their stances on the issues may not do it either.
