When President Trump labeled antifa a ‘domestic’ terror organization, I praised him for a move that was long overdue- as snotty leftists insisted that ‘there was no such designation’...and besides ‘antifa wasn’t even really an organized group’.
I called ‘bull plop on both contentions-pointing out that antifa organizations proudly tout their existence in locations across all of the western world-
And- given that-suggested that the trump team simply go further and designate antifa as a ‘foreign terror organization’.... because they are. Put that label on them, because it allows our federal and international law enforcement agencies to go after them more aggressively.
I suggested that it’d be a great move.
On Wednesday, President Trump did it and he made this announcement during a white house event focusing on antifa- in which he, his cabinet members, and invited guests made it clear to the media that antifa is, in fact, a vile, organized, freedom-hating, group that needs to be delt with after over a decade of ignoring it.
They didn’t spell out how the State dept and dept of justice-etc.- will move forward on this, specifically, but the Trump White House is making it clear that violent extremism will not be tolerated...and won’t be excused away as ‘political activism’. It will be treated as a national security threat.
Great.
Now-back to the idiotic talking point that F. Chuck Todd and other jackasses have been parroting out for weeks-
Folks, the Washington Examiner and a few other international news outlets are reporting that some of antifa’s top leaders America have fled to Europe or are actively making plans to...because they know trump’s crackdown is coming.
I profiled this dangerous clown a few weeks ago as one of the top antifa organizers and ‘thought leaders’ in America...and suggested the dept of justice grab him up.It’s also insane that Rutgers would continue to let him teach his classes, now that he is a ‘domestic terrorist’ who is literally on the run.
There has been at least ‘some effort’ by some Rutgers students to get him fired, but those university officials must be such rancid people that they refuse to do so. They never should have hired him in the first place- after he was fired from a different university for spouting violent, revolutionary hatreds.
Bray openly supports and helps coordinate far left violence. He is a significant funder of their operations here in America. I’m not sure why rubio and Bondi’s teams, or Kash Patel’s team, ever let him get onto a plane.
This clown wrote a book on how to be a violent protestor a while ago-and half of the proceeds of his book go toward funding an international antifa ‘bail fund’-which pays the bail and legal fees for their activists after they are arrested.
The left-wing media has been telling you for weeks now, on CNN and MSNBC, their media accomplices have insisted this isn’t an organized group. It isn’t getting major funding. There’s no way to attack it, legally, and shut it down.
Bull plop.
At this event Wednesday, Kash Patel said that-even in the little bit of time that they have had to investigate where the funding is coming from- they have found all sorts of u-s and foreign sources. And yes, George Soros’s America-hating group is one of the major funders.
We know exactly who is funding these scumbags. In fact, president trump alluded to the fact that he’s had dinner with some of these foreign billionaires. Or at least that’s what it sounded like:
There’s an antifa group here in America that is notorious for being the most violent and the most committed...the so-called ‘rose city antifa’...
And independent reporters say they have tracked the leaders of this cell-and others in America- to Europe.
Another journalist who appeared at this white house panel on Wednesday is named Nick Shirley...and he’s followed antifa and investigated them around the world, apparently.
The Andy Gnos and the Nick Shirleys who have been following and investigating and exposing antifa for years.... call this the ‘anarchy industrial complex’....
Because it’s clearly a major operation that many people up at the top are using to enrich themselves as they use these screwed up young people as their pawns.
So these ‘non-existent’ antifa organizers are now suddenly feeling the heat because after nearly two decades of agitating in America- and after at least a decade of being openly out there- trying to spread anarchy and the collapse of capitalism here-
Finally. Finally. Someone is doing something about it. And of course, that had to be trump and his team members...because neither barrack Obama nor Joe Biden nor any of their team members or democrat party members had any interest in doing so.
Why would they? When they considered antifa and BLM their ‘shock troops’ out on the ground? These have been the street thugs that have been a hallmark for other socialist and communist regimes. You have got to have your group of loyal thugs to terrorize the people when they don’t comply with your orders.
It isn’t a coincidence that ‘today’s democrat party’ is suddenly filled with people who seem to want everyone who disagrees with them dead. Who seems to have no moral or ethical compass. Who seems to hate America in nearly every way.
Because they do.
It isn’t a coincidence that not a single elected democrat in Virginia or Washington DC- or blue state governor- will denounce jay jones- this candidate for attorney general in Virginia who is embroiled in a scandal over emails that have come to light that show he wants his political enemies and their children-dead. He wants police officers dead. Etc.
We should all be shocked that there isn’t a chorus of ‘decent people ‘on the democrat side of the aisle calling on Jones to drop out of the race in disgrace because he’s revealed himself to be a vile human being.
But- geez- what if there isn’t a bunch of ‘decent people’ on the democrat side of the aisle?
And I don’t say that to be controversial. I speak
That because-for the first time in my nearly 40 years of watching current events and following politics-
For the first time ever- i am starting to wonder if there are any decent democrats left. Longtime listeners will know that i used to be able to rattle off all sorts of good hearted, reasonable, smart, democrats in Madison and Milwaukee and nationally. Really. I used to be able to say...hey, that assemblyman is a quality individual. That person has integrity even if we disagree.
I find that I can’t really do that anymore. And it saddens me.
Jay Jones said-in the vilest terms possible- he wanted to kill small children and make their mother watch because their dad and the entire family were just...fascists.
And not a single democrat leader in this country has the decency to step up and say he’s a vile person who shouldn’t represent their party.
What? Has happened to America?
The editors of issues and insights have come to the same conclusion i have: why won’t democrats speak up?
Because most of them apparently share Jay Jones’ sentiments.
Others in dc over the last few days have admitted: this is how democrats talk to each other today, yes.
We need to deal with this now-
And ‘we’ is every decent American who doesn’t condone political violence. It’s not just conservatives who need to step up. But political independents and moderates and any decent democrat who still might be left, out there across America, who cannot condone or ‘excuse away’ what their party has become.
