I am happy to see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engaged.
I really am. It’s about time she-and her music-moved into a more ‘adult’ part of life...and they seem like a great couple. I hope they have several children-
And I agree with Ben Shapiro: our young people are so ‘culture driven’ and ‘fad driven’ these days-that i hope this union between two very popular and decent people make marriage and family ‘cool again’.
Because this country really needs it.
They’ve dated about two years but are also in their late 20s or early 30s and are old enough to ‘know what they want’. This engagement hasn’t been ‘too rushed’.... or ‘too long in coming’.
Two years seems about right.
I hope they are very happy together...
And i hope she isn’t as fickle as her ‘man hating’ music catalog would suggest.
Otherwise, we’ll be getting songs a year from now with her singing about how....
I said I love you...you said make me a sandwich.
We don’t need that. We want a happy Taylor.
I’ve been single my whole life-and I’ve never ‘not thought’ that your parents don’t have a more meaningful purpose than I do.
Of course you do you are responsible for others’ lives. Moods, happiness, fulfillment, etc.
Parents are heroes...so long as they are doing their best to raise their kids right...yeah.Of course, you have a more ‘meaningful purpose’ than the average single person. Yeah.
Birth rates in the US have plunged to all-time lows and we have a record number of Americans who are both living alone- and raising kids alone.
This is- sad news for our society. And we should all be hoping for a great turn-around in the importance of marriage and family soon.
Enjoy your married life Taylor and have lots of babies
