So, this semi-truck driver that killed three people in Florida by trying to do a U-turn on a busy freeway – doesn’t know English-
And doesn’t even know how to read or write.
This is the latest revelation related to that terrible case, and the federal and criminal investigations to get to the bottom of that terrible accident-
And how did this clown ever manage to get a cdl license. Duffy’s people have been tracking to see when this fool entered the country-
And it was September of 2018- during the first trump administration- but –
Before you democrats get too excited: he was immediately arrested at the California border and processed for expedited removal by the first trump administration. They acted accordingly.
His name is Harjinder Singh....and he’s only here because he asserted an asylum claim ...pretending he feared for his life if he returned to India.
India.
Come on.But he’s a ‘seek’, so...I’m sure he had a ‘readymade lie’ for the judge. And it worked-because he was released by a soft immigration judge-back into the country- in January of 2019.
So-he’s here ...until a future court date...so he applies for a work permit in the trump era...and is denied.
No worries. He waits a year or so...and in June of 2021....the Biden administration gives him one.
Oh, boy.And that’s where we start on the slippery slope that has Harjinder Singh-an illiterate, non-English-speaking foreigner-getting cdl licenses from the states of Washington and California, even though he never would have qualified for one- at first blush.
Folks-it needs to be emphasized that- per federal law- Singh would have been disqualified at first blush: the man doesn’t speak English. Done. Disqualified.
But not in California, or Washington, or lord knows how many other blue and red states have been ignoring this rule. We just don’t know.
The officials in Washington state know they are in loads of trouble...because they were the first to give him one...and so...they’ve clammed up.
We are investigating how this happened. We take it very seriously....lie, lie, lie....
California’s leftists are more arrogant. They aren’t even bothered to lie. Yeah, our regulations are so bleeped up that we just gave him one.
This had Sean Duffy announcing yesterday that, at the very least, these three states are going to be punished. And step one is to get them into federal compliance or take away chunks of their federal transportation funding.
Folks...
Federal regulations related to issuing cdl licenses have gotten sloppier since the Obama administration...but...
So, this has become a real problem- and quickly. Just since the Obama era.
In fact, this crash and Harjinder Singh’s screw up is big news in India- because there are at least 150-thousand foreigners from India here- driving trucks.
That estimate comes from one of India’s own leaders-who is blasting the trump administration for daring to hold this jackass accountable for killing three Americans.
Folks...the Trump team- is not-talking about bringing in new language proficiency rules-and this is an important point: the trump administration is insisting on returning to -enforcing- language proficiency rules.
These regulations have always existed -in our era. It was only Obama’s scummy team that decided to make them ‘easily ignored’ by changing the punishments associated with the regulation.
But-this is not trump- inventing new, harsher, regulations. They’ve been in books. This is Trump and Duffy- finally enforcing- long-standing and ‘important’ federal regulations on who can be engaged in the trucking industry here.
Sean Duffy, again, who correctly says, when we announced three months ago that we were going to start enforcing the law again, all sorts of you media members and democrats insisted we were ‘being mean’ or ‘attacking hardworking illegals’...Well...look at the dead minivan passengers in Florida.
The crackdown was ‘called for’ by all sorts of fellow truckers and trucking companies within the industry.
Why?
Because they’ve seen how dangerous some of these illegals are- behind the wheel of a semi. Aside from not knowing the language- many people who come from different countries are simply used to a ‘different system’ ...or a different way of doing things.
As someone who has been to India and many other foreign countries to see how they drive- I’ve got all sorts of stories. Many countries don’t even really have traffic laws. It’s pretty much-every man for himself. Drive on the right or the left-and go.
That’s’ about it.
In Egypt- from what i saw- every corner on every car is all dented to heck. Every corner of every bumper is dented in. Because they drive so recklessly. There don’t seem to be any defined lanes on wider roadways...or defined laws...or even social contracts.
Every few miles you see another group of motorists outside of their cars and yammering at each other due to a fender-bender.
In India- ‘barely controlled chaos’ -is the best way to describe the roadways.
These are countries in which drivers wouldn’t even think twice about trying to pull a U-turn across a four-lane highway- and hey- everyone behind them had better be watching- because here we go. No warning, no signal. No excuses...we’re doing’ a ‘U-ee’.
Which is my theory for why Harjinder Singh didn’t even really react when the minivan plowed into his semi. It’s all on tape. You can see him -barely react. The look on his face is, basically, ugh. I got to deal with this now.
Three people have just died-and he killed them. But rather than be mortified. Or grab his head in both hands in shock and surprise... Singh’s reaction isn’t even a shoulder shrug.
It’s like learning the latte machine is broken at McDonalds. Ugh. I guess I can’t get my mocha chino, then.
Greg, you’ve seen the video. Am I exaggerating?
I’m telling’ you: ‘some percentage’ of the deadly accidents we are now seeing in America- are because so many foreigners new to this country drive like fools. They’re inexperienced behind the wheel. From another culture...etc.
We’ve seen Wisconsinites killed by illegal aliens-both driving drunk-and just simply ‘driving’. The most recent tragedy involved a drunk illegal woman who killed two Madison area teenagers, remember?
But hey- it is a long list.
Bill Melugin of Fox news just put together a list of ‘deadly crashes caused by illegal aliens...just over the past few weeks.
And in that situation-as we know- ice had also put a detainer request on her...but it wasn’t honored by Dane county law enforcers.
Because that’s the ‘enlightened’ part of Wisconsin. The people living in and running Dane County are the people who ‘care more’ ...and ‘are smarter’...than the rest of us.So, two dead teenagers are acceptable collateral damage.
I-do hope- that Sect Duffy and the Trump teal-do- crack down harshly on every state and law enforcement agency that is violating or ignoring our federal trucking laws.
What the heck are our regulatory agencies even doing? If they are allowing hundreds of thousands of patently unqualified people- legal and illegal- from climbing behind the wheel of semi-trucks?
