From the ‘President Trump is going to win nearly all of these court cases eventually file’...we have both the major victory yesterday at the NY court of appeals-
I have a separate segment on that today-but that bold statement of mine – was only related to all the lefty lawsuits that have been filed against President Trump and his administration since he got back into office and started dismantling their longstanding swamp temples.
I said early on: all these lawsuits are being filed out of ‘rage’ and ‘political temper tantrums...and none of them are legitimate...and won’t stick.
When I said ‘Trump will win nearly all of them eventually’... I had to say ‘nearly’...just in case one or two of them -out of hundreds- might be successful...
And because I was talking about him winning them ‘eventually’ at the appeals or supreme court level.
And so, you’ll occasionally run into some ridiculous statistics on a lefty blog claiming...oh. Oh...trump has lost 100 out of 110 cases’... Or some such bologna.What that really is 100 lawsuits were filed against trump that leftists got 100 lefty judges to side with them on at the district level...only to have them of them, since make it thru the appeals process....and give Trump the win.
I again feel the need to stop there-and mention that the ninth circuit court of appeals is the one out west- seated in California- which is famous for issuing very liberal and ludicrous rulings in favor of the leftists...
And even out of ‘that’ appeals court- we are getting rulings upholding trump’s executive actions.... with this one being a unanimous rule.
And if this seems like ...about...the fifteenth...appeals court ruling that lets trump’s team end the temporary legal status of special groups of illegals- you are right.
It isn’t all the ‘same case’. It’s a reflection of how many blasted ‘special protections’ past presidential administrations have carved out for different groups of illegals, here.
These were originally intended to grant a ‘safe haven’ status to some group of people or another who were being oppressed or displaced during a time of war...or some natural disaster.... etc.
And instead, different presidential administrations started to use them as a ‘get into the country free-and stay’ card. These so-called temporary protections kept getting extended and extended and extended...to placate the activists and the ‘poor Haitians’ or ‘poor Salvadorans’.... who now had to go back to their crap hole country because they were no longer in danger. Get it?
Imagine you’re a Salvadoran who’s been here for five years and now the war back home is over.But..but..but...we like it here.Life is better here. You can’t send us back to El Salvador.
Right?
Crocodile tears, crocodile tears, activists and human rights organizations get involved. The catholic church prints up posters of Christ weeping.... over these poor refugees being sent back: President Clinton, don’t be a judas...
Boom. It’s easier for the administration in charge to just extend the protection order. Whee! Everyone stays.
That’s how these TPS orders have worked and over the years they have piled up on top of each other.
For example-this must be, like, the sixth, temporary protection order that mentions some group of Nicaraguans or another. And at least the third that trump has canceled that mentions the Hondurans.
The activists worried about those countries have been-very successful-in getting temporary protections for migrants from those countries and then having them extended and extended and extended.
The only change here is, trump’s team is saying ‘no’. If there is no longer a reason to give this group continued ‘protection status’ in America, they no longer have it.
Period.
And much to the chagrin of the activists and bleeding-heart activists- the courts are siding with the president. These are executive ‘temporary protections’...and the executive can cancel or rescind them if he wants to.
That’s what’s going on. And unlike past presidents, trump and Kristi Noem don’t seem to care how many tears those ‘Christ posters can shed...
These migrants are going back home.
Finally. We have a president and an administration who are interested in following the law.Good.
This is also why it’s going to be -interesting- to see how the trump team responds to the blue city mayors who are digging in on their sanctuary city status.
You might have seen that attorney general Pam Bondi basically issued final requests last week: drop your sanctuary city policies, or else we will move ahead with killing off federal funding...and even prosecuting any of you public officials who we believe are crossing the line.
Politico checked with 35 of the most visible sanctuary cities and counties and found that most of them are -by God- digging in.
The America-hating Boston mayor held a news conference to raise the stakes...which she might regret, soon...
Yeah. Trump’s team is ready to ratchet this up.
And the federal courts have sided- again and again-with the municipalities and states when it comes to ‘not having to cooperate’ with federal ice actions and/or help them collect illegals.
That’s correct.
But they cannot actively interfere. That’s a crime that could get them in trouble...as it did our own judge Hannah Dugan, here in Milwaukee.
And- gee- it’s also legal for the trump administration to withhold certain federal funds of the leaders of these cities and states don’t want to comply.
It sounds like they’re going to learn that, soon.
And yeah- they’ll sue.
And lose.
