Oh- this. Is what I voted for:
A few weeks ago, sect of state Marco Rubio casually told congress that ‘thousands of student visas have been revoked since Trump took over...because the foreign students who had them were either criminals or America-haters.
This had fox nation reporters following up with the state department...who released a figure of ‘about six thousand’ as of this week.
This is what I voted for!
To have leaders who would stop this modern-era standard of letting the rest of the world walk all over us.
If you don’t appreciate this country, I don’t appreciate you....and if you are a foreigner who’s here as a guest.... The rest of us...shouldn’t have to put up with you.
A student visa is different from a green card- because the visa only allows a student to stay for a specific period of time- while he or she is studying in the country.
And yet, it is one of the ‘most abused’ forms of visa here in America-as all sorts of foreign students just...decide...to stay...after graduation.
Some can go through the process eventually by getting a green card or citizenship...but a lot of them ...given human nature... Are too lazy or uncaring...and simply ‘stay’. I’d love to know the number of illegal aliens who we have in this country who simply overstayed their student visas...and were never a priority for removal.
It's not ‘millions’, but it’s probably tens of thousands or maybe even hundreds of thousands.
Because, basically, there’s never been a crackdown on student visa overstays. That’s how we’ve managed to get so many scummy America-hating activists in this country...and people marching waving the Palestinian flag during their ‘Jew hating’ protests in New York and elsewhere.
So, it’s great to see Rubio and the state department working with ice to at least put a priority on deporting the ‘student visa abusers.
It also turns out that trump’s new immigration rules have led to a significant drop in the backlog of cases in our immigration courts.
And don’t get too excited- the backlog is still huge.
As someone who has watched this for decades- I can confirm that digging into some of the backlog-
Finishing more pending cases and cutting into the backlog is huge.
It really is something that we haven’t seen in this country for at least 20 years-and it’s probably 30.
This is a big deal. And along with self-deportation and an end to accepting bogus asylum claims- we are going to see a significant improvement in our illegal immigration numbers-and fast.
Its’ been seven months since trump has been back in office and the change is already more remarkable than anyone could have predicted or imagined.
Genuinely: after decades and decades of stalemates and excuses.... we finally have an immigration system that is running more closely to the one that our past presidents and past congresses envisioned when they passed most of our immigration laws.
After all-they weren’t passing immigration laws for them to be ignored- but sadly, that’s what’s been happening for decades and decades-with most of the laws they passed: nothing.
